... and policy lunacy

Larry Pickering

Four-time Walkley Award winning political commentator and Churchill Fellow, has returned to the fray over concern that the integrity of news dissemination is continually being threatened by a partisan media.

Australia’s multiple disconnected Security Agencies are noticeably hard at work investigating yet another “politically motivated incident”, soon after it happened... and still they don’t get it!

Right now there are four hundred Muslim activists in Australia under notice (not under surveillance) by either ASIO, the AFP or police anti-terror squads, yet if only five per cent of Australian Muslims are intent on committing an act of terror then that’s 20,000 Muslims they should be worried about, not a mere 400.

And anyway, not one of the perpetrators of terrorism in Australia has been on any Security Agency’s watch list. And they never will be, because Muslim terrorists aren’t fools, they will use the next in a plethora of dumb cleanskins to carry out their dirty work.

It was to be expected that Bill Shorten would immediately send his condolences to the family of the dead Muslim gunman but how can any normal person comprehend the stupidity of the advice given to Bishop and Turnbull by Security Agencies to call for compassion, inclusiveness, and to “reach out” to Muslim communities, asking that they dob in their mad Muslim kids.

It’s time politicians ignored the Agencies and started reading the Koran because Islam interprets appeasement as weakness and weakness only emboldens the predator.

This blog has criticised government reliance on Security Agencies’ advice for years. ASIO makes the Keystone Cops look like Mossad. I have known these people from years spent in Canberra and their comedic reputation was, and still is, well deserved.

From the disastrous Petrov affair of 1954 to Kevin Rudd’s mate he appointed to chief of ASIO, David Irvine, who spent more time on the bloody guest speaker circuit than he did looking for terrorists.

Heads of Security Agencies should not be at a lectern spilling their guts to unknown audiences after two bottles of red. But that’s a normal Rudd appointment I suppose.

ASIO believes the internationally banned terrorist group Hizb ut-Tahrir should be allowed to continue operating in our suburbs as an ISIS recruiting agency because, “We don’t want to drive them underground, we want to know what they are doing”. Well that policy worked out pretty well over the weekend didn’t it? It’s just a shame they found out what they were "doing" after the event.

It’s only slowly drilling its way through their thick heads that mosques, Islamic clerics, Islamic book stores and Hizb ut-Tahrir are at the core of terrorism in Australia.

If councils refuse to bulldoze existing mosques, then they at least need to stop approving the damned things and police need to shut down these bloody book stores.

Islam is neither a religion, nor a race. Therefore it has no religious protection under the Constitution nor does it have protection under the Racial Discrimination Act. It is a vile parasitic cult intent on destroying its host.

If terrorism is to be stopped in Australia it must be cut off at the source... find the tap and turn it off BEFORE you attempt to clean up the mess!

... or is that too hard to figure out for all but the proletariat?

By the way... are you a bit sad about being called out??? Yes, getting a bit of truth is painful sometimes, but maybe when you grow up you will understand.

What? Dont you have the ability to actually look stuff up? I got my education at my expense and in my time. Now go get yours for yourself.

So according to the almighty JF... if people agree with you they are entitled to respect but if they dare have an alternate view with valid reasons f their own they don't eh? Well all I can say about that is that it demonstrates more of your deficiencies as a person than anything else.

It appears that you just can't help yourself when you are obviously outclassed. That may be the reason why most people on this site ignore your comments because more often than not they are only the ramblings of an insignificant and irrelevant old fool.

EXTREMIST Dutch member of parliament Geert Wilders has been granted a visa to come to Australia.

The right wing politician will come to Perth to help launch a party that’s core aim is to “stop the Islamisation of Australia”.

National president of the Australian Liberty Alliance Party, Debbie Robinson, confirmed on Thursday night that Mr Wilders’ visa had been issued and his visit would go ahead as planned.

It is the second time the leader of The Netherlands’ Partij voor de Vrijheid — Party for Freedom — has visited Australia.

On his last visit in 2013, Premier Colin Barnett said Mr Wilders was “not welcome” in WA and his talk in Melbourne erupted in violent protests.

During this trip, Mr Wilders will give the keynote address at the party launch of Australian Liberty Alliance on Tuesday, October 20 in Perth. As revealed by The Sunday Times last year, City Beach orthopedic surgeon Anthony Robinson and his wife Debbie are among five directors of Australian Liberty Alliance.

Ms Robinson is also president of the Q Society of Australia, which describes itself as “Australia’s leading Islamic critical movement”.

Ms Robinson welcomed news of Mr Wilders’ visa being granted.

WAPatriot has it right. It's a balance - you have to choose between a transparent, democratic government or despotic Islamic regimes or blatant terrorists in the form of Hamas. Your choice reveals your respect , or lack of fir democracy and individual freedoms.

Go Dick ..... more balls than all the Canberra pollies combined. DICK SMITH'S MESSAGE TO ISLAM There should be more leading Australians like Dick, he gets to the bottom of important issues and anything that amounts to selling out Australia is very important. Please pass this on and on and on. A WARNING FROM DICK SMITH: You may be aware that " Dick Smith " chain franchise stores are being pressured by the Islamic Council of Australia to gain 'Halal Certification' otherwise they will be proscribed and banned from Muslim custom. This is their response: A MESSAGE FROM DICK SMITH. "We at Dick Smith 's have received a number of letters from people asking if we will be putting the Muslim Halal logo on our food. To acquire Halal certification, payment is required to the endorsing body (the Islamic Council) and involves a number of site inspections of both our growers and processors in order to ensure that our practices comply with the conditions of Halal certification. It is important to note that this does not reflect the quality of the food being processed or sold – it only means that the products are approved as being prepared in accordance with the traditions of the Muslim faith.
We are aware of an increasing number of large companies both in Australia and overseas, such as Kraft and Cadbury, who have obtained accreditation to use the Halal logo. We don’t believe they have done this because of any religious commitment but rather for purely commercial reasons. Perhaps these large organisations can afford to do this. While we have a choice however, we would prefer to avoid unnecessarily increasing the cost of our products in order to pay for Halal accreditation when this money would be better spent continuing to support important charitable causes where assistance is greatly needed.
We point out that we have never been asked to put a Christian symbol (or any other religious symbol) on our food requiring that we send money to a Christian organisation for the right to do so. Others would add that money paid to ANY Muslim 'organisation' (and you had better believe it:
these people ARE 'organised') can easily find its way into the hands of Islamic extremist-fanatics and murderers, irrespective of assurances to the contrary. What other assurances do we accept from Muslims? Oh, that's right, 'Islam is a religion of PEACE'! How less Australian can companies get, than to place money into the hands of those who seek to exploit us?" This is an example of how the leaders of Muslims in Aus/NZ are bullying large commercial organisations (especially in the food
industry) into paying what is no more than blatant extortion money. The amazing part is that these weak-kneed organisations (Cadbury/ Schweppes/ Nestles/ Kraft etc.) actually pay the large sums demanded by these self-appointed religious bureaucrats. Of course, the manufacturers promptly pass this levy on to unwitting consumers as cost increases.
Next time you buy a block of Cadbury's chocolate, look for the Halal Certification seal on the wrapper. So, regardless of your own religious faith, you end up subsidizing Islam. The Council also controls the Muslim voter bloc which, as yet, does not have sufficient critical mass to make a difference - but give them time. Several state jurisdictions are under pressure to adopt or permit Sharia Law in Marriage, Family and Property matters and some, under the delusion that they are being progressively liberal, are permitting this. This has already happened in some local authorities in the U.K. Google the U.K. Education Department's current investigation into the conduct of Muslim-run schools in the Birmingham area of England . How many more warnings do people need? Check the produce on the shelf and don't buy anything Muslim extorted. THANK YOU FOR READING THIS RIGHT THROUGH TO THE END.......WHAT NEXT IN OZ!!!!!!!!

The statements are not mine but those of the party. The party is closest to my views and will therefore get my vote. There is no disloyalty in it, the fact that they agree with the existence of Israel does not make them any less patriotic about Australia.

Thank you, mcj! You never know what Bruce's response would be at any time because he appears quite irrational at times. But at least he hasn't mentioned Pauline Hanson here which shows he may be on the way to recovery.

Labor and Greens has openly come out making policy statements in support of the non-nation of palestine while LNP has in the past made statements of support for the actual nation of Israel. Why should a new political party be criticized for going on record with their policy in an area that has been subject to multiple public statements by other parties? It is a legitimate difference in political leaning in this nation and many voters will find it relevant. My particular note is that left wing parties tend to support the terrorist community while right wing parties support the legitimate nation. As a conservative voter I look for a party that best represents my views. You should do the same.

I must say that I love how you say that facts are not the issue.... hilarious.

JF you really need some serious mental assistance. Your mates at Getup must know someone that can help.

So JF your response is to deny history??? Your responses become more shrill and unbalanced as we go along. I will simply go back to my initial response that I will never support a party that publicly states, as its policy, the disenfranchisement of a legitimate nation tot he benefit of a non-existent terrorist community.

Well JF that was an amazingly unbalanced response. Since when was there ever a Libs/Nat/Labor/Green Coalition? Ridiculous. Both Labor and the Greens have publicly stated support for the non-nation of Palestine over the legitimate nation of Israel. Any denial of this fact is what you describe as smoke and mirrors. I have merely stated historical facts without any personal bias, they can be verified by taking the time to go to a library and studying history books.

So JF.... Israel is a nation in every sense. Palestine is not, was not and likely will not ever be a country. Those claiming to be Palestinian are actually predominantly Jordanian, with some Egyptians included int he population. Jordan refused to accept them because they caused so many troubles with their behaviour. Any attempt to legitimize, what is in effect a group of terrorists is miles from the truth of the matter and merely demonstrates a lack of ability to research the truth.

Will delete my stuff, just wanted to make it clear there is plenty to be concerned about when it comes to islam..

Israel was excised from the area known as the British Palestinian Mandate (not a country an area). After Israel was legally recreated by a vote of the UN, they were immediately attacked by the surrounding islamic hordes who got their backside soundly tanned resulting in Israel legitimately expanding their land area. All Jews in surrounding nations were expelled only to be immediately accepted by Israel and fully integrated into the nation. The muslims that were displaced by the attacks were refused citizenship of all muslims nations and have, as a result remained stateless. Israel has supported muslims in Gaza and the West Bank for years and their reward is continual attacks from terrorist groups.

The 1967 Israeli attack on the USS Liberty with their planes identification painted out nearly lead to Washington nuking Cairo in a mistaken retaliation
Neither side deserves our attention.

JF... that shows absolutely your lack of knowledge in this area. Palestine was never a country and the term Palestinian was a derogatory term applied, by the Romans to occupants of the area. Palestine is a geographical region. It is like you are saying Europe is a country and clearly it is not. Israel on the other hand has existed no less than 3 times in history as a homeland for the Jews and over a period of something like 4000years (if you are objective you will note that this is nearly 3 times as long as islam has existed as a religion).
