THE TERROR TAX

(Part 12)

Larry Pickering

Four-time Walkley Award winning political commentator and Churchill Fellow, has returned to the fray over concern that the integrity of news dissemination is continually being threatened by a partisan media.

Australian consumers nervously worry that their hard earned dollars might be making their way from the checkout counter to terrorist organisations, which have tentacles reaching into Australia. It sounds like another conspiracy theory, until you take a closer look.

In several countries, halal certification schemes have been found to directly fund groups like Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood, proscribed terrorist organisations in the Middle East and the West, including Australia.

Halal certifiers use seemingly well-intentioned (Islamic) Non-Profit Organisations (NPOs) aka registered charities to funnel funds to Islamic terrorists, as has been proven in Canada, France, the UK and the US.

It should be no surprise that it’s also happening in Australia.

In this final examination in the series I take a look at the serpentine links between just one halal certifier in Australia and terrorist funding. I’m pretty sure you’ll be as horrified, but as unsurprised as I was with what you’re about to have confirmed - the incontrovertible links from your grocery money to terrorism.

The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) is a global independent intergovernmental body that develops policies to protect the global financial system against money laundering and terrorist financing.

FATF recommendations are recognised as the standard for global anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CTF). The Australian Institute of Criminology (AIC) references FATF for its intelligence on terrorist funding.

The AIC is Australia's national research and knowledge centre on crime and justice under the watch of the Federal Minister for Justice, Michael Keenan.

The most recent report by an Australian government on the links between terrorists and non-profit organisations was over three years ago.

Julia Gillard was Prime Minister, Nicola Roxon was Attorney General and Jason Clare was Minister for Home Affairs and Minister for Justice.

On February 10, 2012, Roxon and Clare released a report by the AIC on the risks of money laundering and terrorism funding by NPOs. It was pretty much just a rehash of the FATF warnings.

The report found that smaller, local, community-based NPOs, especially informal ethnic and faith-based charities (i.e. Islamic) often fall outside the watchful regulatory eye of our government agencies and are especially likely to be used for financing terrorism.

The report says terror funding is undertaken by exploiting legitimate charities where funds raised for charitable purposes are diverted to individuals or groups associated with terrorism. Sham charities are common.

In a number of cases, the NPO collects funds intended for humanitarian aid or welfare relief, but a percentage is specifically intended for the financing of terrorists.

Many of the implicated “charities” form part of a complex web, moving funds between multiple accounts held by various charities, sister NPOs, companies (both legitimate and fictitious) and individuals.

Multiple conduits are used in the country of money origin and transferred across different jurisdictions, before eventually being transmitted to the intended recipient(s) – terrorists.

Funds are first deposited into the bank accounts of charities, or of individuals associated with charities, before being transferred, using cash deposits, wire transfers or other remittance schemes.

AUSTRAC lists “financial contributions through formal charitable donations” as one of the three most common methods by which terrorism funds are raised in Australia.

So let’s take a look at just one of the Islamic “charities” operating within Australia.

HUMAN APPEAL INTERNATIONAL (HAI)

Human Appeal International (HAI) is a global Islamic charity established in 1984. It has 14 offices worldwide including local offices in Australia at Lakemba (Sydney), Coburg (Melbourne) and Mile End (Adelaide).

America’s CIA rang alarm bells about HAI nearly 20 years ago in 1996, reporting, “International Islamic charities have established a presence in nearly every country around the world that has a substantial Muslim population. Islamic activists dominate the leadership of the largest charities and prominent members of some smaller organisations have been identified as extremists.

Human Appeal International (HAI): "Support to Extremist/Terrorist Activities: Among other activities, this organisation probably acts as a fund-raiser for Hamas.”

In 2003 the US FBI outlined, "....a close relationship between Human Appeal International and Hamas”. The FBI further reported that HAI was a major recipient of funding from the outlawed 'Specially Designated Global Terrorist' (SDGT) entity, and the 'Holy Land Foundation' (HLF).

In December 2001, the U.S. government designated HLF a terrorist organisation, seized its assets, and closed it down.

In 2004, a Federal grand jury in Dallas, Texas, charged Holy Land Foundation and five former officers and employees with providing material support to Hamas and related offences.

In February 2005 Hamas’ website openly announced the receipt of funds from HAI, and in September of that year HAI was implicated in the investigation of British Hamas fundraiser Ahmad Saltana.

On 24 June, 2003, The ABC's Nick McKenzie from the 7:30 Report’s investigative unit revealed that money from Australia was sent to organisations linked to Jemaah Islamiah, Al Qaeda and Hamas.

NICK McKENZIE on 7.30 Report: Back in Sydney, another indication that Australian charities are feeding extremist organisations. This building houses a branch of Human Appeal International, an Islamic charity based in the United Arab Emirates.

A 1996 CIA document states: Human Appeal International probably acts as a fundraiser for the Palestinian extremist organisation Hamas. It goes on to state: Human Appeal International is linked to the now defunct charity Muwafaq, which was accused by the US as being an Al Qaeda front organisation.

The director of Human Appeal International refused to speak to the ABC.

A few shop fronts away from Human Appeal International is Muslim Aid Australia.

It says the ABC's questions have been a wake-up call.

IMAN PARTOREDJO (Muslim scholar): It certainly is a major signal for us to tighten up our operation so that the goodwill of people's donations do not get wrongly spent in the way that these organisations have done so.

NICK McKENZIE: But it's not just a wake-up call for Muslim Aid Australia. Once money from Australia enters the coffers of a foreign organisation, it's almost impossible to track its use.(end)

CONCERN CHARITIES CHANNELLING FUNDS TO HAMAS

On 22 September 2003, the ABC Lateline program’s Jonathan Harley reported again on HAI.

When the European Union joined the United States by proscribing the hardline Palestinian group Hamas as a terrorist organisation, it also froze Hamas’ assets. (Australia did not follow suit then but has done so since.) There are serious concerns about where funds from at least one Sydney group may be going.

JONATHAN HARLEY: The all-too-familiar aftermath of a Hamas suicide bomber, and another devastating blow to the so-called "road map to peace". Hamas has emerged as Palestine's most powerful opponent to the road map's two-state solution, that Israel and Palestine could live successfully as two separate states in peace.

TAYLOR GRIFFIN, US TREASURY DEPARTMENT: You have these organisations that are doing good, but they're also doing incredible harm and we have determined that you can't see a difference between the two. We don't distinguish between the terrorists and those who finance and support them.

JONATHAN HARLEY: Tonight, Lateline examines whether Australian money is funding Hamas.

JOHN HOWARD, PRIME MINISTER: In relation to the proscription of organisations, we act on advice. If we get advice to that effect, if we do, we will do so. But although it is an organisation that has a very deadly intent in the Middle East, that doesn't necessarily translate to Australia.

JONATHAN HARLEY: But is that deadly intent assisted by Australian money? In Sydney's south-western suburb of Lakemba, you could easily miss one of Australia's largest Islamic charities, which says it raised $2.6 million last year.

Dubai-based Human Appeal International's web site lists Australia as one of five international fundraising offices, claiming to help 10 million refugees and orphans in 50 countries.

But it might be more than just the needy receiving funds.

NEIL FERGUS of “Intelligent Risks”: Despite the best intentions of people in Australia or in other parts, we must have a concern that the funds may be inappropriately distributed.

JONATHAN HARLEY: While recovery teams were picking through the debris of the World Trade Centre, the FBI was trailing through the accounts of Islamic charities with suspected terrorist links. The bureau's counter-terrorism division compiled a report for the US Department of Treasury.

The document, obtained by Lateline, outlines a close relationship between Human Appeal International and Hamas, as well as the US-based Palestinian charity the Holy Land Foundation For Relief and Development, which was raided and shut down three months after the September 11 attacks.

Australian counter-terrorism expert Neil Fergus says the documents cast serious doubts over the integrity of the whole organisation, including in Australia.

NEIL FERGUS: When you look at the documents from the FBI and if material that they have put together which indicates that Human Appeal International have, in the past, certainly been proselytising for funds to assist with not just humanitarian causes but the intifada and, indeed, in fighting against the Israelis, then you have some serious concerns that need to be answered.

JONATHAN HARLEY: The FBI's findings echo a recently released 1996 CIA document, which alleges Human Appeal International "probably acts as a fundraiser for Hamas".

And there are specific concerns about the organisation's operations in Australia. One of Human Appeal International's highest priorities is Palestinian refugees. So you'd expect the Palestinian Authority's highest representative in Australia to support anyone helping his people. But Ali Kazak is concerned about the way Human Appeal International does business and with whom.

ALI KAZAK: Well, I mean, I've stopped giving them any donation.

I would say that the people should not give the contribution until they make it public and clear as to how much they collect and where the money is going.

Otherwise how on earth would know that the money is reaching its final destination?

JONATHAN HARLEY: After making several small donations, Ali Kazak became worried about the group's accountability.

He's written to them twice asking how the Australian money is spent.

And what response have you received?

ALI KAZAK: Nothing.

JONATHAN HARLEY: How long ago was that?

ALI KAZAK: About maybe over a year.

JONATHAN HARLEY: And you've heard nothing back at all?

ALI KAZAK: No.

JONATHAN HARLEY: And this is the most prominent Islamic charity in Australia?

ALI KAZAK: That's right, yeah.

JONATHAN HARLEY: What sort of alarm bells has that set off for you?

ALI KAZAK: Well, it is the style they operate. I think they are not experienced but this does not give any excuse of course. Accountability and transparency are very important.

JONATHAN HARLEY: Human Appeal International says the chief Palestinian delegate has used his official position to pursue a personal vendetta, and has tried to discredit the organisation among Australian Muslim leaders.

BASHAR AL-JAMAL, Regional Director, HUMAN APPEAL INTERNATIONAL: He approached us as the chairman of the Palestinian Authority in Australia.

JONATHAN HARLEY: And you responded with silence?

BASHAR AL-JAMAL: Yeah, but we did not respond to him because we been upset from the way he conduct and talk about Human Appeal.

JONATHAN HARLEY: Do you accept that that raises some fairly serious concerns or impressions about your accountability? About your preparedness to answer questions about your accountability?

BASHAR AL-JAMAL: No, really it's not come to our mind at all from the way you talk.

JONATHAN HARLEY: Australia's umbrella body for international donors, the Australian Council for Overseas Aid, has a strict code of conduct. But Human Appeal International is not a member.

After more than a decade of operations in Australia, it's in the process of joining, and Bashar al-Jamal insists his organisation has no links to Hamas.

BASHAR AL-JAMAL: I could not see at all - not from close not from far - any links between Human Appeal International and Hamas.

JONATHAN HARLEY: In August last year, Islamic youth chat group Muslim Net Melbourne featured an advertisement for controversial Palestinian fundraising scheme, the 101 Days Campaign.

It said profits from the sale of videotapes about the intifada would go to the campaign through Human Appeal International.

Counter-terrorism experts say the 101 Days Campaign is closely linked to Hamas.

NEIL FERGUS: It certainly has a correlation, or a linkage, to those peace-rejectionist groups within the Palestinian -- so if Human Appeal International does have a link with that, again, immediately this sense of ambiguity arises about making sure, not just the perception breakthrough making sure that the funds, which are needed, are going to the appropriate causes.

JONATHAN HARLEY: Bashar al-Jamal says working with the 101 Days Campaign was a decision by head office, and despite the Melbourne advertisement, does involve Australia.

BASHAR AL-JAMAL: If that thing right, it would concern us too much. No, we in Australia have nothing to do at all with 101 Days Campaign.

JONATHAN HARLEY: There is no suggestion Human Appeal International is itself a terrorist organisation. However, serious questions hang over its alleged relationship with Hamas and its accountability to donors.

And for Australian authorities it raises questions whether enough is being done to monitor possible funding of terrorist activities and more specifically, whether Australia should follow the lead of the US and Europe and proscribe Hamas.

NEIL FERGUS: Hamas is carrying out terrorist operations in Israel and Palestine, the occupied territories, which is responsible for carnage among men, women, civilians. It's a terrorist organisation, anyway you look at it.

In a written statement, the Attorney-General's office adds the groups mentioned by Lateline "do have some legitimate social and charitable activities" and that the challenge "is to identify that component of funding which might be directed to terrorism activities". (end)

The Gatestone Institute in the US, is a non-partisan, not-for-profit international policy council which analyses and reports on issues such as military and diplomatic threats to the United States and its allies, events in the Middle East and their possible consequences, and the transparency and accountability of international organisations.

The Institute reported in June 2013 on ‘charities’ that are linked to Hamas, based on various government sources.

Its report on HAI is as follows:

In 2005, a website belonging to Hamas reported that funds were transferred from Human Appeal's affiliated organisation in the UAE to IQRA and Rifdah, two Hamas front organisations based in the West Bank.

In 2004, documents obtained from the US Internal Revenue Service by Senator Charles Grassley revealed that the IRS considered Human Appeal International to be one of a number of charities "which finance terrorism and perpetuate violence."

Further, leaked State Department cables also revealed that staff from the Human Appeal UAE branch were funding terror groups, and that, "In 2003, there were indications that HAI was sending financial support to organisations associated with Hamas and that members of its field offices in Bosnia, Kosovo, and Chechnya had connections to al-Qaeda associates."

In 2008, the Israeli Government proscribed a number of Human Appeal's affiliated international branches as "bodies that are active abroad and which are responsible for raising very large sums for Hamas activities in Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip."

In July 2011, Human Appeal International was one of a number of charities honoured at a Hamas ceremony in Gaza.

Also in July 2011, Human Appeal hosted, along with the Palestinian Forum of Britain, an event with a number of radical hate preachers and Hamas supporters.

The Palestinian Forum of Britain is one of the UK's leading pro-Hamas organisations, whose spokesman is Zaher Al-Birawi, a man closely connected to the Hamas leadership.

One speaker at Human Appeal's 2011 event was Raed Saleh, a prominent supporter of Hamas, known for his anti-Semitic and anti-homosexual views. Saleh has claimed that 4,000 Jews skipped work at the World Trade Centre on 9/11, those who killed the "Martyr, Sheikh Osama Bin Laden" had "sold their consciences to Satan", and that the honour killing of girls is acceptable.

One of Saleh's poems includes the lines:

"You Jews are criminal bombers of mosques,
Slaughterers of pregnant women and babies.
Robbers and germs in all times,
The Creator sentenced you to be loser monkeys,
Victory belongs to Muslims, from the Nile to the Euphrates."

Saleh is best known for his frequent invocation of the 'blood libel' -- an ancient anti-Semitic claim that Jews kill children to use their blood to make matzah at Passover. Even a British court concluded that Saleh's comments were hateful of Jews.

Saleh was joined at the Human Appeal event by Ahmad Noufal (also spelled 'Nawfal'), a prominent figure in the Jordanian Muslim Brotherhood who is "directly involved in sponsoring and organising Hamas terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians." In 2005, Noufal endorsed the French Holocaust denier Roger Garaudy on Saudi television:

Roger Garaudy said: "If we take the number of gas chambers and the maximal daily capacity of an oven, and multiply them by the period, you Zionists claim the Holocaust lasted – even if we multiply the number of ovens by the maximal [capacity], the figure is grossly exaggerated. The number of those burned [sic] was 600,000. You added another zero, and turned it into six million."

In December 2011, Human Appeal hosted an event which featured the hate preacher Haitham al-Haddad as a guest speaker. Al-Haddad regards Jews as, "enemies of god, and the descendants of apes and pigs", and disregards any form of peace until "Allah's law [will] govern the whole earth, and for no other law to remain."

Haddad deems homosexuality a crime and supports the subjugation of women, telling them: "you must obey [your husband]." (end)

In Australia, Human Appeal International raises much of its funds through an annual concert called ‘Sounds of Light’, held at the end of each year at Flemington Racecourse, Melbourne, Olympic Park, Sydney, Town Hall, Adelaide and Riverside Theatre, Perth.

A major ‘Gold’ sponsor of Sound of Light is Halal Helpline (www.halalhelpline.org). Gold sponsorship for the HAI Sounds of Light concert is $20,000.

Halal Helpline is owned and run by none other than halal certifier, Mohamed El Mouelhy of the Halal Certification Authority Pty Ltd.

So, let’s join the links:

Your grocery money ———> halal certified food product or business ———> Halal Certification Authority Pty Ltd ———> Mohamed El Mouelhy ———> Halal Helpline (a $20k gold sponsor) ———> Sounds of Light Charity Concert ———> Human Appeals International ———> HAI supporter of, and linked to, HAMAS (proscribed terrorist organisation) (CIA, FBI Reports, IRS, US State Dept, British govt, Israeli govt,)

Ironically, Mr El Mouelhy mocks Australian Dick Smith who refuses to get caught up in the terror tax money chain, with El Mouelhy posting online: “… he (Dick Smith) gives to charity to stay in the limelight, he has always been a performing seal.”

Well, at least Dick Smith supports the right charities, those not known as sham fronts for terrorists.

Inadvertently, the Federal Government is also financing terrorism via the ATO. Charitable donations are tax deductible.

When reporters ask Australian government agencies if halal certification in Australia is linked to terrorism, they get the stock standard answer, “We have no evidence blah…blah…blah”.

Islamic terrorist Man Monis wasn’t on their terror radar either before he stormed the Lindt Café, terrorised and killed in the name of Islamic State. Neither were the two recently arrested Islamic State converts in Sydney who were ‘within hours’ of publicly beheading and filming a random member of the public.

The most recent report any Australian government (and its agencies) have undertaken in non-profit organisations and terror links was over three years ago when Gillard was PM. The report was just a FATF regurgitation.

The AIC report contains no local information or scrutiny of any NPOs, because they’ve not been checked out. So of course our intelligence agencies will tell reporters they have ‘no evidence’ of links from halal certification to terror.

The AIC admits damningly:

"Australia has not conducted a similar examination of financial management in the non-profit sector, other than to produce guidelines that include best-practice approaches to mitigating risk of abuse (see Regulation of the non-profit sector)." (end)

Or in other words, “We haven’t bothered to look.”

Astounding!

If I can find the link of just one Australian halal certifier to terrorists with my limited time and with no public funding, why can’t the Australian government counter-terror agencies, with so much more time, hundreds of staff, hundreds of millions of dollars of public funding and confidential intelligence at their disposal?

The Federal Government last year bumped up terror intelligence funding by another $630 million, with $20 million allocated specifically for targeting the financing of terror organisations in Australia.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald last Friday, 27th February, 2015, the $630 million counter-terrorism funding boost the Abbott government announced six months ago still hasn’t even begun to flow to our national security agencies and won’t for another month or two.

Meanwhile, our agencies have been forced to dip into existing budgets to fund priorities, such as financial experts, to track terror money.

No wonder they reply to enquiries that they, “have no evidence…etc…etc…”.

A lot has happened around the world and in Australia over the past three years in relation to Islamic terror. The Prime Minister and the Attorney General remind us daily of the heightened risks in Australia of Islamic extremists.

The Pickering Post has handed the government the links on a silver platter showing how our grocery money is linked to terrorism. No doubt there are plenty of other rocks waiting to be overturned.

In Australia, funding terrorism is an offence. The penalty is 10 years’ imprisonment. Better get yourself properly lawyered up, Mr El Mouelhy. You’ve got some explaining to do.

Apart from the Halal Helpline (financed by your grocery money) link to Hamas, an entry in the annual report of another halal certifier, the Islamic Council of WA (ICWA) confirms, on their own admission, using their profits for “...ongoing donations to Syria. Because of the difficult civil conditions, the donations were made through “Al Imdaad” charity, to ensure that no recriminations could be directed at ICWA”.

How much more evidence is needed?

Okay, here's some more... Al-Imdaad Foundation has previously partnered with Viva Palestina, the pro-Hamas charity which has included Hamas activists among its staff.

The British branch of Al-Imdaad has given over £50,000 to the Zamzam Foundation a charity set up by the Somali Muslim Brotherhood in 1992.

One of Al-Imdaad’s trustee’s, Qari Ziyaad Patel, has written and sung a ‘nasheed’ [Islamic song] in praise of the Taliban.

In 2012-13, Al-Imdaad’s British branch raised over £400,000 for the IHH, a Turkish charity widely accused of funding terrorism and publicly supporting Hamas.

In addition, events organised by Al-Imdaad UK have included speakers such as Maulana Sulaimaan Ravat, a South African hate preacher who has propagated conspiracy theories that Jews overthrew Libyan dictator, Colonel Gaddafi, in order to steal Libya’s oil reserves.

Several of the other halal certifiers confirm they too donate funds to Islamic ‘charities'.

On September 16, 2014, The Sydney Daily Telegraph reported:

"Islamic State supporters are siphoning money from charities and using not-for-profit organisations as a guise to transfer funds from Australia to finance terrorism.

"Terror groups have turned to charities as a vehicle to move sizable funds because surveillance of financial transfers has increased significantly." (end)

Only Jacquie Lambie has raised the issue of halal certification transparency, asking whether halal certification is linked to terrorist organisations.

Mohamed El Moulhy responds by saying, “Lambie is one of the most ignorant people under the sun”.

Well, he would say that, wouldn’t he?
(And doesn’t he just love the personal abuse?)

The British Government has this past month (February 2015) been preparing a major crackdown on organisations linked to Hamas after a long-awaited publication of its review into the Muslim Brotherhood.

The review was by Sir John Jenkins, former British ambassador to Saudi Arabia.

The report dismisses claims by the Muslim Brotherhood that there is “no evidence” of links between it and terrorism. “There are clear links and Jenkins will trigger further action against some Brotherhood and Hamas-linked groups,” said one official source.

Many of the groups have already been squeezed by removing their bank accounts.

The UK Sunday Telegraph conducted its own in depth investigation and found a number of clear overlaps between the Muslim Brotherhood’s UK operations and those of organisations linked to Hamas. In fact, they often share premises.

The Sunday Telegraph reports:

"The seventh floor of Westgate House also houses the Muslim Charities Forum, an umbrella body for ten British charities, at least six of which have funded Hamas organisations and most of which can also be linked to the Brotherhood.

"The Muslim Charities Forum was stripped of £250,000 in Government grants in December (2014) in what the Communities Secretary, Eric Pickles, described as a decision to 'cease funding any organisation that supports or is linked to individuals who fuel hatred, division and violence.' More than £100,000 of the grant had already been paid, however.

"Six of the Muslim Charities Forum’s 10 members are or were members of the Union of Good, also known as the 101 Days Campaign (remember that name from the ABC Lateline report).

"The Union of Good is designated by the US Treasury Department as a terrorist organisation created by the Hamas leadership “in order to facilitate the transfer of funds to Hamas”.

"Members of the Muslim Charities Forum include Muslim Aid, which has admitted funding organisations run by Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad; Islamic Help, which works closely with a Hamas front organisation in Gaza; Muslim Hands, which also funds Hamas front bodies; and Human Appeal International, accused by the FBI, CIA and in the leaked US diplomatic telegrams of funding Hamas and of other terrorist links." (end)

My investigations here are based on nearly 20 years of reports from the CIA up to this past month, February 2015, by the British Government.

The following are Islamic "charities" that are proven to have links to terrorism. In alphabetical order:

Afghan Support Committee
Al-Aramain Foundation
Al Kifah Refugee Centre
Al Wafa al Igatha al Islamia
Benevolence International Foundation
Bosanska Idealna Futura
Global Relief Foundation
Health Education project International
Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development
Human Appeal International
Interpal
Internationale Humanitare Hilforsaginsation e.V.
Jamaat Al Dawaa al Quran
Jamat al Tabligh
Maktab al-Khidamat
Muslim Aid
Societyl Of the Revival Of Islamic Heritage
Sanabal Charitable Committee
Tamals Rehabilitation Organisation

Motherhood-sounding names, but if it’s an Islamic charity it’s almost certainly a front funding terrorism. It’s inconceivable to assume that Hamas is receiving these charity funds in order to help children when thousands of rockets are rained on Israel from schools, kindergartens and hospitals.

Hamas forces Israel to respond by bombing those launch sites, giving them the grizzly footage they need for their propaganda war. So much for accepting donations for the poor children.

To presume that Australian-based offices of global Islamic NPOs might not be funnelling donations from halal certification, fund-raising concerts and other sources, to jihadi terrorists is utterly fanciful.

This government had better start taking a closer look.

Every report shows they are all interwoven, shuffling donations to each other and between accounts to try to hide the fact that the funds go to terrorists.

It’s reprehensible that Australian halal certifiers are clearly donating your grocery money to charities with links to well known, proscribed terrorist organisations.

No doubt the halal certifiers will disingenuously feign a mock defence, “…but…but...but…we didn't  know”, which of course is a nonsense. It just won’t wash.

Brash Halal certifier, The Islamic Council of WA President, Dr Rateb Jneid actually admitted, and signed off on, his 2013 annual report, that his halal certification funds went, “... to Syria and because of the difficult civil conditions, the donations were made through ‘Al Imdaad’ charity, to ensure that no recriminations could be directed at ICWA”.

When asked to explain where the money had actually finished up, Dr Rateb Jneid, angrily replied, “It is an affront to ask such a question” he said, “you don’t ask where money raised in Catholic Churches goes to.”

Further investigations have revealed that the WA Islamic Council is only one of many Islamic organisations across Australia, including many mosques, that are funnelling money via this sham international "charity" front, to terrorist groups in al-Raqqa in Syria and Mosul in Iraq.

Now, Dr Rateb Jneid (many of these Muslims leaders falsely call themselves doctors) is the same bloke claimed as the kingpin when Police cracked a major methylamphetamine trafficking syndicate after a four-month probe netted more than $8 million worth of the drug, $380,000 in cash and a number of unlicensed firearms

The Muslim community members (Ummah) are all too well aware what these charities are really used for and in fact it was they who pointed me in the right direction.

It takes a few minutes on a keyboard to scratch the surface of Islamic charities and their links to terrorism. The links and reports are everywhere.

It’s not just our taxes via welfare that are being used to support Islamic supremacists plotting our death and destruction, our food money is, too.

If ever there was an issue in the public interest screaming out for government action and media scrutiny, it’s halal certification in Australia. But all seem in denial of the obvious.

If the AFP and ASIO were fair dinkum, they’d be off getting search warrants to raid Suite 701, Level 7, 90 Pitt Street, Sydney, sooner rather than later. AQIS and the ATO might want to join them.

[I must publicly thank anonymous insiders from the Muslim community who assisted me greatly in this investigation. This was to be a 12-part series, but as this investigation was rolling out I was forwarded further critical material that could not be ignored. Conclusion tomorrow.]

Comments

The biggest terrorist so-called charity is the White Helmets (Shite Helmets) They are a CIA front for the scum ISIS, Wahhabi, Jihadist head-chopping terrorrists in sovereign Syria who are being funded by Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, US, UK, France and other NATO countries. YES US ( Israel's puppet lacky shabbagoy ) and others countries mentioned ARE training, arming and funding the vile scum murderous peadophile terrorists in Syria!

BDS ..fair comment...

As for Julian Assange, well personally I think the bloke is a treacherous Jerk. He put himself in the situation, just like the two in Indonesia did but nobody is looking to execute him and how do you know it was consensual sex...Naturally Assange is going to say it was ....but unless you were there (which I doubt) you do not really know what happened.....

BDS, Nowhere in my above posting have I expressed my own personal opinion...
However you do not know what you would actually do until you actually found yourself in those circumstances...whatsmore I can be very easy to get yourself "unwittingly" into serious trouble in a foreign country...so your bravado actually matters Jack shit until you are in those circumstances......
As for those two in Indonesia my only gripe is that they waited almost 10 years to do the deed...if you are going to execute drug runners then bloody do it....

WHAT If the Minister for Goldman Sachs were Prime Minister? -

"....The excellent analysis from The Economic Collapse site provides a list of compelling arguments in 11 Reasons Why America Would Be A Better Place Without Goldman Sachs. #9 illustrates the real aim behind the curtain. The Wizard of Oz has a Goldman address.

"Goldman Sachs has way too much influence over the federal government. There is a reason why it is commonly referred to as "Government Sachs". No matter who is the White House, people that used to work for Goldman and other big Wall Street banks always seem to be crawling around."

Moreover, the tentacles of international reach have extended well beyond the former bastion of American capitalism. Goldman Sachs takes over America and now Europe is all part of "gods work" . . . Since this year old arrangement was adopted the faltering EU economy intensifies, while the consolidation of political union under the GS model of financial servitude expands........"

Give this a try PP. On my computer Larry's site works perfectly on "Internet Explorer" however will not work ok on "Firefox" (my preferred browser). Strangely my internet banking works perfectly on "Firefox" but not on "Internet Explorer". Go figure. Give it a try.

Oh shit, what a stupid mistake. I meant "Internet Explorer", not "Outlook Express". What a silly bunt. I will fix original

It is my personal belief that the protracted agony of announcing the day of execution is the Indonesians playing for time to extract a promise from Australia for increased funding. In other words, a bribe. Australian Govt either is hoping to call the bluff or doesn't give a shit about these two guys but is getting maximum media coverage about how caring they are and can then say "well Indonesia, we tried, but now you get jack shit." These guys are pawns in political manouevering.

I hadn't thought of that angle M. I don't believe we should be borrowing money to give away overseas anyway.

Duck, Julian Assange has benefited greatly from the protection of his Government, hasn't he? He sleeps with a woman (consensual) goes back for a midnight snack, they go out the next day together and then months later she decides to accuse him of rape because she did not agree to his midnight snack. Not a word from our Government. If the Govt is so upset, why has it taken 10 years to suddenly get all upset? They knew from the outset that the men faced the death penalty... why wait 10 years to suddenly start being so protective? There is more to this than meets the eye, and I believe it is political posturing to get out of having to donate further funds to the Indonesian Govt.

People (not PP'ers) in general are silent about Moslem atrocities but I am curious as to why there hasn't been much outrage about the destruction of artefacts in the Mosul Museum? I am glad that a lot of the good stuff ended up in Western museums, at least it will be protected from these Moslem savages. And if / when they take over the West they will destroy our museums and artworks as well.

BDS I have to agree with what you say. While I am not entirely in favour of death penalties I couldn't handle being locked up for life. Indonesia has its laws & other countries should abide with that. The Indonesians say they have 4.5mil drug uses that need to be rehabilitated because of drug smugglers like them.

I wonder if that arsehole Miriam gargoyle will like to see this? She RAN away from UK to come live here why? This perhaps? See my posting below this one:

Who said Moslems never invent anything? The Iranians have invented a finger chopping machine for thieves, apparently a lesser penalty than hand chopping. "Iran unveils machine for amputating thieves' fingers": http://youtu.be/bDmSklDbhWE And we keep inviting more and more of these people to come here!

Suggest that as a nation we are against the death penalty as a matter of principle and have expressed that through our government.......
If you think that the death penalty is fine , go live in Indonesia ....simple...
Whats more if the government did nothing....all the left wing lunatics and do-gooders would be up in arms.........So if you went overseas and got into some trouble with the Law in a foreign country and the government of the day did nothing to help you...the likes of you would be calling the Foreign Minister all sorts of nasty names for "NOT" doing exactly what she is now doing?????
