THE ROHINGYA'S PLIGHT WILL TEST OUR MORAL COMPASS
Four-time Walkley Award winning political commentator and Churchill Fellow, has returned to the fray over concern that the integrity of news dissemination is continually being threatened by a partisan media.
It’s hard to find a bloke in the pics of thousands of fleeing Rohingyas. Women and children, trying to avoid being raped, drowned or shot, are apparently leaving their menfolk behind to continue the terrorist attacks against Burmese nationals.
Media naturally are claiming ethnic cleansing by the Burmese and not referring at all to how the Rohingya militants are attacking and killing anyone they can with home-made bombs and guns. This current disaster was started when Rohingya terrorists killed 12 Burmese policeman and set fire to the station.
Muslims who have settled in non-Muslim countries will always be unwelcome. We have yet to learn that.
Rohingya militarists said to have burned down a church with worshippers locked inside. (Or so a report goes)... This is now another Islamic war and the first casualty of war is the truth so it's hard to believe any report. Yet the pics are graphic and disgusting.
And now the Philippines has copped another nest of Jihadists to the south. It's getting closer each day and we don't seem to care... or at least the Left doesn't care.
No regional nation wants these poor buggers, nor do they want the Muslims we are holding offshore. Rohingya terrorist leaders have been trained in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Afghanistan and fight the Islamic way, ruthlessly and under the banner of Islam and Al Queda.
The Rohingyas have no rights in Hindu/Buddhist dominated Myanmar. They claim to be descendants of Arab traders, although it seems their roots are more firmly entrenched in Bangladesh next door (Land of the Bengal).
But majority Muslim countries, Bangladesh, Indonesia and Malaysia, are using military force to ensure escaping Rohingyas don’t settle there. Thailand with only a 6% Muslim population is also turning them away.
But it’s impossible not to sympathise with those poor women and wide-eyed, starving children being driven from their insecure make-shift homes with nothing, no food, water, shelter or anyone who gives a stuff.
They can only hope to settle in Bangladesh which is already awash with monsoonal floods. They're their fellow Muslims, but in true Islamic fashion the Bangladeshis do not care about the plight of other Muslims, only themselves and their cricket team.
Should we take them? The horrible, awful answer is no. Not because we are not compassionate but because their murderous Jihadist menfolk will follow them, and if surrounding Muslim nations know enough to refuse to accommodate them, what sort of suicidal fools would we be to take them in?
We won’t change them. Islam is unchangeable and omnipresent wherever it decides to settle.
Tragedies such as this one will always follow Islam.
