Larry Pickering

Four-time Walkley Award winning political commentator and Churchill Fellow, has returned to the fray over concern that the integrity of news dissemination is continually being threatened by a partisan media.

Turkey warned Putin to stop bombing ISIS at about the same time as Obama was claiming “successful containment”.  In a thinly veiled attempt to avoid killing any person of extreme Islamic persuasion, Obama has suddenly been exposed as a liar as he openly defends Turkey’s “right” to defend itself against... well, against um, actually there was no-one attacking Turkey, and Turkey’s Erdogan has suddenly been exposed as just another dumb extreme Muslim in a suicide vest.

Obama has not only encouraged the growth of ISIS, he has actively supported it with the assistance of Turkey and the Saudis. Now he insists every American should relax and enjoy a well-basted thanksgiving turkey this coming weekend!

Obama assures his subjects that, “No credible threat exists”. Funny, but that’s the only time that terrorism has struck! Anywhere!

Australia’s Turnbull has fallen into the US Administration mould by suggesting a power-sharing arrangement in Syria that includes hirsute hooligans from 30 disparate Al Queda, ISIS and rebel groups that are all competing to attack the West in their own individual self-righteous form of terrorism.

That sounds like it will work, eh?

Obama is desperate to be known as the President who ousted the tyrant, Bashar al-Assad, so far they have taken turns with Hussein and Gaddafi, but Assad is a geopolitical and economic mate of Putin and neither is goin’ anywhere soon.

And the Turnbull Government’s solution for Iraq? Minister Keenan explains that we must train the Iraqi army to defend itself. This is forehead-slapping stuff of concussion proportions.

Michael Keenan must know that we have already done that! Did he not notice when ISIS got within 50k of Baghdad they all dropped their guns and ran, tripping over themselves while frantically trying to discard their uniforms? Doesn't he understand that Iraqis only joined the army because the US paid attractive salaries? They wanted none of this fighting stuff.

Two successive puppet Shia Governments installed by the US have sought only to wreak revenge on the Sunnis of the Ba’athist regime of Saddam Hussein, but like Obama, they didn’t count on the rapid evolution of ISIS.

Install a Sunni puppet government and the reverse will apply to the Shias. They want each other wiped from the face of the earth simply because they can’t agree who rightfully followed the Prophet Mohammed as Caliph. The Shia claim it was Ali, his son-in-law, but the trouble is the Shia are a mere 20 per cent of the world’s Muslims so they won’t be winning that argument any time soon.

The Yanks haven’t got one foreign policy right since 1945 and Trump is getting more attractive by the minute.... if only!

Apologies, I strayed off the track there, it happens every time I discuss Islam. What I really wanted to say was that a well-spoken black man in a white house is solely responsible for the rise of this extreme Islam in the form of ISIS.

His support for Turkey’s downing of a Russian warplane is of course inane, but in line with his radical Islam sympathies. The warplane was shot down over Syrian territory after it had spent no more than 13 seconds clipping a small tongue of Turkish wasteland.

Ten warnings? In 13 seconds? I don’t think so. Turkish fighters were already in the air in anticipation and they were far too slow to intercept anything, but they shot it down anyway, from behind.

This incident will not lead to WWIII but it will lead to an economic disaster for a major supporter of ISIS terrorism.

What a bunch of feckless turkeys these Turks are!

The reason Arab armies can’t fight is that they effectively have no NCO corps. When it comes to a fight the officers retire to the nearest hotel. You get promotion because of how important your family is deemed to be. This is why the Americans found it impossible to train them. The Saudi army is typical. Lavishly equipped by the US, it couldn’t fight it’s way out of a wet paper bag. The only exceptions are Assad’s army and some of the rebels (eg. the Kurds) , where they know it’s fight or die.

Quote from above.."What I really wanted to say was that a well-spoken black man in a white house is solely responsible for the rise of this extreme Islam in the form of ISIS." And Larry, if you take that just one little step further, you could say that black man had much pleasure in cutting the head off that white Turkey... and why couldn't it have been a black Turkey?

Slater & Gordon another 25% drop today Friday on the ASX.

I hope, much as I dislike the prick, that Vlad cuts off the gas supply to Turkey. They look to see who they think might be winning before taking sides. Their continued buying od discount oil from ISIS is a traitorous act. Up em for the rent

Turkey is controlled by Islamists..........Erdogan once said that democracy for him is a bus ride. “Once I get to my stop, I’m getting off." ............."it is offensive and an insult to our religion. There is no moderate or immoderate Islam. Islam is Islam and that’s it."...... Mar 7, 2009 - Barack Obama will visit Turkey next month, fulfilling a campaign pledge to travel to a Muslim country during his first 100 days in power.

China can't afford to drop the US $$ seeing their economy is based on it .

Hear hear, Vladimir
“Today, many nations are revising their moral values and ethical norms, eroding ethnic traditions and differences between peoples and cultures. Society is now required not only to recognise everyone’s right to the freedom of consciousness, political views and privacy, but also to accept without question the equality of good and evil, strange as it seems, concepts that are opposite in meaning. This destruction of traditional values from above not only leads to negative consequences for society, but is also essentially anti-democratic, since it is carried out on the basis of abstract, speculative ideas, contrary to the will of the majority, which does not accept the changes occurring or the proposed revision of values.”
— Vladimir Putin, Presidential Address to the Federal Assembly, December 12, 2013

National Blessing

Hello big fella...

I don't know about "Thanksgiving" Larry, but we should be giving thanks that our Border Protection and Police are keeping a lid, so far, on the "aggrieved" Muslims.

Rinaldo. The old paedophile protector would certainly know about sin. After all he runs one of the most corrupt organisations on earth.

You are talking pigeon lg

Nein, Valter vas German, not Russian.

lg I am placing you last on the ticket. Very disappointing.....I still would like the vodka though.

Jack are you sure she/he was not a pole vaulter???

Putin has accused the Americans of complicity of the shoot down. The flight path of the plane had been given to the Americans as part of the co-operation agreement. He has accused the Americans of passing the information on to the Turks.

Got a couple of nice Russian ladies on my books, Harry. Recently retired Olympic athletes, shot putters actually. They come with a few extra 'Y' chromosomes, but that doesn't detract from their looks . . . . very much.

Hey lg if you throw in a Russian bride I'm on-board. Vote 1 lg. That's only pre approval until all my demands are met. Please.

Sorry guys I'm deleting my couple of posts as I'm over the 64 -90 new pop ups, cheers, have a good weekend, there's more to life than running psychological warfare towards each other. Its achieving zilch.
