Planned Power Chaos

Viv Forbes

Viv has a degree in Applied Science Geology and is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy

Seven Australian governments have made a mis-planned mess of Australia’s electricity industry. The federal government now plans to add more toxins to the mess – “five-year targets to cut emissions.”

There was one big lesson from the 20th Century – coercive central planning always fails - it constantly destroys economic assets and human freedom. Just look at the human and economic costs of the grand plans of Stalin’s Russia, Hitler’s Germany, Mao’s China, Castro’s Cuba and Pol Pot’s Cambodia. Or compare East and West Germany when the Berlin Wall came down or North and South Korea now.

AWB Chief, Trevor Flugge, who bribed Saddam Hussein

The International Tin Council almost destroyed the tin industry. Australia’s failed Wool Board delivered unearned profits to our overseas competitors and wool growers took years to clear up the mess. Australia has had egg boards, milk boards and grain boards and all produced sinecures for board members, reduced markets for producers and higher prices for consumers.

OPEC Secretary General urged shale oil producers to cap global supply

Even OPEC’s grand plan to maintain high prices for crude oil were destroyed by American shale oil entrepreneurs.

Outcomes are always better when markets reflect the wishes and actions of consumers and producers and are free of selective subsidies, discriminatory taxes and interfering politicians.

                                                Wanna-be power engineers

Australia’s electricity market is jerked in one direction by a Climate Commissar in Canberra who is second-guessed by State premiers who wanna-be power engineers.

Rules change with every election. The result is high-priced electricity from an unreliable grid. The winners are bureaucrats and academics who are well paid to dream up the “plans” and speculators quick enough to grab the sure-fire benefits. The losers are real industry, electricity consumers and taxpayers.

                                                Weatherill's back-up supply

No more five-year power plans thanks. Politicians who subsidise some technologies and tax or ban others will never get it right. Let coal, oil, gas, nuclear, hydro, wind and solar compete freely with no government subsidies or market mandates and no guaranteed return on investment - just a few reasonable regulations to prevent real pollution and protect public safety.

Finally, cease all official promotion of the myth of man-made global warming.

[PP: Snow fell down in Texas and into Mexico, in this the sixth consecutive year of record American and European cold temperatures.].

Whenever the firebombing of Dresden comes up you can be certain of two reactions. 1) They started it. 2) It was in response to Coventry. If it wasn’t for a thoroughly corrupt media the facts would be better known.
“Because we were doubtful about the psychological effect of propagandist distortion of the truth that it was we who started the strategic bombing offensive, we have shrunk from giving our great decision of May 11, 1940, the publicity it deserves.” ~ Bombing Vindicated. J. M. Spaight, CB. CBE. Principal Secretary to the Air Ministry. (Note the date was during what journalists described as the Bore War as the conflict was to all intents and purposes over; only Churchill was determined to widen the war).
“We began to bomb objectives on the German mainland before the Germans began to bomb objectives on the British mainland.” ~ J. M. Spaight, CB. CBE. Principal Secretary to the Air Ministry.

Our Sun, the star Sol, apparently oscillates up and down through the Orion Arm of the Milky Way galaxy. About every 35 million years the Solar System passes through the plane of the galaxy which causes massive changes in exposure to cosmic rays and comets. This is also the most dense part of the Orion arm where gravitational forces from neighbouring stars is the greatest. This additional gravitation force on the Sun is thought to compress the gasses in the Sun and cause it to cool and may be enough to bring on an ice age. Good news though it only takes about 100,000 years to pass through the galactic plane.

The ruling class have raise a generation of idiots.

Yes a mini Ice Age
But not as you know it
** Arctic temperatures soar 25 degrees above normal in the dead of winter **
Washington: While the Eastern United States simmers in some of its warmest February weather ever recorded, the Arctic is also stewing in temperatures 25 degrees above normal.

This latest huge temperature spike in the Arctic is another striking indicator of its rapidly transforming climate.
So long, it's been good to know ya
So long, it's been good to know ya
So long, it's been good to know ya
What a long time since I've been home
And I've gotta be driftin' along
I've sung this song, but I'll sing it again
Of the people I've met and the places I've seen
Some of the troubles that bothered my mind
And a lot of good people that I've left behind, singing

The last three lines in this article confirm, once again, that this joker still doesn't understand the difference between weather and climate.

Scientific study shows big change in sunspot activity and solar winds =colder weather maybe an ice age!!

If you think the Population feel Safe and Secure......Go out on the balcony and practice cracking the old Stockwhip for a few minutes and see how paranoid the world we live in has become... we really still need "fire sirens" in Victoria...

Watch as a group of ANTIFA attack 5 middle aged patriots and get their asses kicked.

Where does the stupidity end?

The Russians have brought a couple of their "stealth" fighters to Syria as an apparent "me too" reaction to the F-22. Which to me indicates that the F-22 is doing it's job of evading detection by Russian radars & isn't as obsolete as many try to make out. This looks like a tit for tat although the US A/C has a lot of air hours under it's belt compared to the Su-57.

New post.

Push to End “Gun-Free” Zones Following Florida Shooting

Virtually every mass shooting in recent memory had one key feature in common: It happened in a so-called "gun-free" zone created by politicians. But after the massacre last week at the school in Parkland, Florida, that left 17 dead, the push is on to ensure that children will no longer be sitting ducks for murderers.

Am I right in suspecting that there are smokescreens and mirrors being deployed from Canberra while the WWW is away as the Black Hand targets some political opponents on their own side?

I have been amazed at the number of 'Z' movies out there. You know what I mean, the TV series of zombies running amok and chewing the arms and legs of normal people. Right? Now I realise it's all linked to wealth re-distribution. When I was in business I used to think that it would save a lot of time if I could just plug into a vein and the government could just suck the blood straight form the source. Now I know. these 'Zombie' movies are just an extension of that idea. Showing us the way of the future. The movies are a metaphor for what's happening now. The "zombies' are in fact the bureaucracy going direct to the source and byepassing the tax office. Instead of taking all your hard earned by taxation, they just consume the animal that feeds them. Hard working people like you.

After the most freezing Melbourne winter in living memory the so called "experts" still came up with the amazing statement that July 2017 was the warmest on record. They must have had the central heating turned up too high. Another good article Viv. Keep sticking it to 'em mate.

Florida school shooting..the plot thickens 'Israel came up several times during the exchange as an example in controlling guns and enhancing security. Cary Gruber, the father of Justin Gruber, one of the Douglas school survivors, noted the tough restrictions on gun ownership in Israel. Darrell Scott, whose daughter, Rachel, was slain during the 1999 school shooting at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado, said an example American schools should emulate is having a single secured entrance.

“In Israel, they have one entry point and it’s very well guarded,” Scott said, noting that he speaks frequently at schools and easily enters and exits. “We have really soft entry points into schools.”
