I DON’T REMEMBER YOU!

Victorians’ short memories have enabled Labor's Dan Andrews to start a hot favourite in today’s poll. In a late rush Denis Napthine has closed the gap but it may not help him because at least one quarter of the ballots have already been lodged as pre-poll and postal votes.

And they have been lodged in record numbers. The fact remains, Labor’s Daniel Andrews is a most unlikely favourite to win the Premiership and that’s a forehead-slapping prospect.

How Labor’s Victorian disasters can be so quickly forgotten is a mystery... or is it? Melbourne has always been a hotbed of hardcore Labor and union activism. It houses Trades Hall, the ACTU and the worst of the CFMEU with mob bosses Gatto and Setka.

A history of AWU criminality, aided by Slater & Gordon’s Gillard and Wilson and Maurice Blackburn’s Shorten and Roxon has been no disincentive for the Labor-loving Vics.

In fact Victoria is the only State in Australia to have returned yet another graduate of Slater & Gordon, the Greens’ Adam Bandt, to the Federal Reps and while Oz was still reeling from a raging Rudd/Gillard/Rudd catastrophe.

The prospect of a Daniel Andrews government is so unthinkably damaging to Victoria that even the most rabidly Left tabloid rag in Australia, the Melbourne Age, has warned voters not to go there.

Is it an Abbott backlash that has made Andrews favourite? It has certainly helped, most Victorians detest the New South Welshman, but you have to wonder what drugs the Vics are on to even think of supporting a Party with such a recent history of outrageous incompetence and criminality.

But the election will not be the whitewash that the pundits suggest and it will come down to the wavering sand belt seats but it’s still embarrassing for me that Labor, at least this time round, is starting such an undeserved favourite in my old home town.

Oh well, I guess quite a few idiots still support Collingwood to win a Premiership, so why not chuck in Andrews too.

Dare to lie, Dare to Cheat, Dare to Steal, That's our Struggle, The CFMEU ideal...

Childish drivel, in fact it is too infantile for most school kids.

From vecchio (3 days ago) I see at least one third of the posters have the Christmas burqa as an avatar. Are my eyes going crazy. I see myself as my roses but lots of others as the burqa. is it a deliberate hack or have you all changed suddenly. Will I change? I hope not.

Victoria: Just like South Australia

Getting it through you dim mind

"What else can one call a state ruled by ALP Unions..." How does fucked, stuffed, and rooted sound alpinist, just for starters. . .

Labor went a long way to fixing the system , in Qld. , when they scrapped the Upper House.

When the adults were in charge of the Government, why didn't they fix it?

"...how stupid you are."
It seems that the Lib/Nat Coalition polled more votes than Labor and yet again we see a government elected on a lower vote count. Are the Victorian voters stupid or is it all the plebs who refuse to tackle the broken electoral system?

I see that noises are coming out Queensland for Abbott to get his mess cleaned up before the Nats get turfed out in March 2015. The Nationals are seriously looking at the agreement they have for coalition with the toxic Abbott/Hockey gang!

Followed by Grocon.

Victoria State of Chaos.

@ alpinist - mate, I am a Victorian and I am depressed enough as it is without someone hanging a Turd shaped sign around my LNP neck. I cannot believe that the donkey voters would want a CFMEU led government however, watch them kick and hee-haw when the honeymoon is over and the Credit Card is maxed out.

Hey folks, if you missed out on watching Rudd and Gillard max out the nation's credit card and spend a surplus in quick time then you are in luck, because now you can watch Dan the bag-man do it LIVE in Victoria. Get your kids to watch as it will be a great home-economics lesson for them. Ah, Victoria - the Garbage State.

WA branch OAP = A bunch on nonentities, none of whom have been on the firing line, nor gaoled for it, denying the one person who has integrity and guts: the two most basic things we need in a politician. No one expects her to be PM but as a senator she couldn't do any worse than most of the idiots already present and she WOULD be more useful. As for passé? FFS! Abbott was passé a decade ago while Shorten still wore short pants which he has never outgrown.

Once again more people vote for Coalition than Labor, but Labor win. Maybe it's the voting system that's wrong rather than the people! Also heard that the Labor campaign was based around ordinary workers, nurses, fireman etc: spinning lies about what the coalition has done and of course the public believed them. Another dirty Labor trick.

Bloody AFL states.
