Airbus is struggling with a string of inexplicable crashes that will likely be found to have computers as a contributing factor. Airbus is not at fault. Airline companies have demanded manufacturers produce planes that rely less and less on pilots and more on computers.

Computers will fly into mountains with smiles on their monitors while obsolete pilots try to figure out what the hell is happening.

It’s of no use to switch off a faulty auto pilot and turn to manual when a dozen computers are still feeding the navaids bullshit info. 

It’s time pilots were given back the responsibility for flying an aircraft and it’s time airline companies stop demanding that computers replace them.

Computers can never make the rational decisions so often needed and there is no greater computer available to an aircraft than the human brain.

Last night’s crash of Germanwings 4U 9525 has some disturbing elements reminiscent of MH370. No communication, other than to declare an “emergency”, no Mayday and no apparent reason for rapidly descending, on a constant heading, into an inaccessible environment where it’s certain all lives will be lost.

Let’s hope these black boxes reveal more than what just happened to Germanwings 4U 9525.

Can anyone give a factual answer about the possible muslum connection ? There have been some posts saying he was a mussie but nothing in the press ? Was his girlfriend a mussie ? Is there any truthful report saying yes or no ? Or was he just a nut who slipped through the cracks ?

The airline has to explain why the co-pilot was getting about 1 flight per month, that's not enough to maintain proficiency on the aircraft type, something smells

I cant ???.....................................................................A JetBlue Airways pilot who scared passengers by yelling about Jesus and al-Qaeda in 2012 has sued the airline for $16 million, saying it jeopardised the flight by failing to recognise he was ill.

Clayton Osbon filed the lawsuit yesterday in Manhattan federal court.

No one was seriously injured on the March 27, 2012 flight from New York to Las Vegas when Osbon was restrained after running through the cabin shouting irrationally.

The plane made an emergency landing in Amarillo, Texas.

The lawsuit said Osbon's behaviour resulted from seizures.

The lawsuit accused JetBlue of ignoring warning signs Osbon was not well before the plane took off.

I did hear last night that he had taken 6 months off work due to depression. However, he also sought solace in attending a mosque not too far away, Has anybody else heard about this? I also note the similarities between the last few crashes and the lack of contact with the control rooms. I'm not one for conspiracy theories but I may begin to change my mind.

It has been reported in the Press that the guy spearing the plane into the mountain was suffering from depression .

Shep, I have never tried to stop anyone in my family or their children getting a vaccine it is their choice and their body. Understand that, what I put into my body should be my choice not mandated by a police state government.

One of the two pilots of the crashed Germanwings flight was locked out of the cockpit before the plane slammed into the French Alps killing 150 people, a German state prosecutor has confirmed.

Christoph Kumpa, from the prosecutors' office in Dusseldorf, confirmed earlier reports from a source close to the investigation that one of the seats was pushed back and the door opened and closed, followed by the sound of knocking.

That source added that "there was no more conversation from that point until the crash".

Mr Kumpa confirmed the information, saying "one was in the cockpit and the other wasn't" and that the information had come from investigators in France.

He said he did not know whether it was the captain or the co-pilot who was in the cockpit.

The source said earlier an alarm indicating the proximity of the ground could be heard before the impact.

The recording included the pilots speaking normally and in German at the start of flight 4U9525.

Neither Germanwings nor parent company Lufthansa has released the identity of the two pilots.

Earlier, the New York Times reported an unnamed investigator who had heard the recording as saying officials did not know why one of the pilots left the cockpit.

"But what is sure is that at the very end of the flight, the other pilot is alone and does not open the door," the investigator said.

The Airbus A320 began a sudden and fatal eight-minute descent shortly after reaching cruising altitude.

No distress signal was sent and the crew failed to respond to desperate attempts at contact from ground control.

All 150 people on board the airliner were killed, including Melbourne nurse Carol Friday, 68, and her 29-year-old son Greig.

I admire your work Larry, however on the plane crashing into the mount or the sea, you are looking for the politically correct reason; truth is the plane and its systems work perfectly fine, it's the lunatic in the drivers seat screaming 'Allah Akbar' that screws the system every time. Evolution has designed magnificently safe systems, it is the lack of evolution in Islam that crashes planes.

Its time for muslim conspiracy theories about some of these planes disappearing or crashing for no good reason.
