Cut Price Commies

Harry Richardson

Harry Richardson is a long-time student of Islam and author of best seller, "the Story Of Mohammed - Islam Unveiled',

The far-left system of Communism/Socialism was invented almost entirely by Karl Marx. Marx thought that the Capitalist system of setting prices was totally unfair. The problem he saw was that the businessman or entrepreneur who grew the cabbages could charge what he liked and make a profit for his work.

Marx had a fairer alternative. He said that the man with the gun would just tot up the cost of the cabbage seeds, the shovels, the fertiliser, the labour and so forth. He would then calculate the cost of each cabbage.

Labour would be calculated in an arbitrary way. Perhaps a labourer would get one cabbage per hour, a skilled cabbage machine driver would get two cabbages and a professional such as an agricultural consultant would get 3 cabbages per hour. Marx wasn’t exactly sure of course but……..whatever.

With no bourgeoise capitalist taking an enormous profit, the workers would get the full benefit and the prices would be kept low. What could possibly go wrong.

Well, just about everything. What Marx never baked into his price cake, was the desire of the consumer.

In a capitalist society, nobody is forced to buy anything. If you want to sell them something, you need to make something they really desire.

In a socialist society, the man with the gun is in charge of producing things. He doesn’t really give a stuff about what people want. He will just give a bare minimum that he really has to.

For instance, in the Soviet Union, the leaders decided they needed 100 tonnes of steel nails. They sent this instruction to the nail factories. The nail factories set to and quickly produced 100 tonnes of nails.

The factory chiefs were very proud of their achievement. However, the party bosses then realised that the nail factories had only produced enormous nails that weighed about half a kilogram each and were entirely useless.

They then issued a directive that the nail factories must produce one million nails. The nail factories quickly produced one million nails. Unfortunately, the nails were all tiny little tacks which were quick to produce but largely useless.

The problem was that the nail producers were only interested to please the man with the gun (the Government) because it was the man with the gun who paid them (and besides, he had a gun!). They didn’t care about the people using the nails (the consumer) because in a Socialist society, the consumer is not paying them.

The other immediate problem with this system that Marx never thought about, is quality. In a capitalist society, producers strive to create products of the highest quality because higher quality goods command higher prices and are easier to sell. Unfortunately, producing high quality goods is hard bloody work.

In a Left-wing Socialist society where prices are fixed, there is no benefit to producing high quality goods. If you have ever had the misfortune of travelling in a car made in a Communist country, you will know what I mean (the rear windscreen heater is mostly for keeping your hands warm as you are pushing the stupid pile of Junk).

Cutting edge Eastern  Block technology. With simple modifications, you can easily double the horsepower.

When the man with the gun organises production, all products are substandard. The one exception of course, is guns. The man with the gun will oversee the production of guns, bombs, tanks and fighter aircraft personally.

The bigger problem is that the man with the gun has no real idea how to set prices. There is little chance that he will set prices correctly. He will always set them too low or too high.

Let’s look at an example where the man with the gun sets prices too high.

In the European Union, the Government decided that cabbages and other agricultural products were priced too low. So, they forced everyone to pay high prices for food and paid the farmers above the going rate.

This of course meant that there was a transfer of money from the general population to the farmers (who had the ear of the man with the gun through their voting block). This made everyone (other than farmers) poorer than they should have been.

What was worse however was what happened to the cabbages. Because growing cabbages became wildly profitable, farmers grew lots of them. They dug up woods and meadows, they planted on marginal land which should have remained fallow.

They used every type of chemical and fertiliser to grow as many cabbages as possible. Because they were so expensive however, people didn’t eat so many of them. Consequently, the European Union wound up with mountains of unwanted cabbages which they had to pay to store. These storage costs were added to the costs of the cabbages. They also had mountains of butter, beef, cauliflowers and lakes of wine as well as countless other perishable goods. Eventually, they tried paying farmers to not grow cabbages Farmers would then buy up land to not grow cabbages on.

Even Mr Creosote  gagged on this one.

Because of the high profits being made, big companies rushed in and began buying out the lucky farmers and created huge farms with no fences or hedgerows. These fences and hedgerows were the homes where many animals and birds had lived. These creatures were largely wiped out.

Cabbages are one of the chief exports of poor countries. They were unable to export into the EU now because the EU refused to take any more cabbages. Instead, the EU tried to dump their excess cabbages onto Third World countries at very low prices which wiped out the poor farmer there and made those countries dependent on foreign aid.

This system pushed up the price of food for everyone in Europe. However, it affected some far more than others. Imagine if the food bill for an average family of four was around $150.00.

Think of a poor family with an income of only $300.00 per week, and a rich family with an income of $2000.00 per week. If food prices are inflated to $200.00 per week the rich family will hardly notice it. However, the poor family will suffer terrible hardship.

Is it any wonder that the people leading the charge for socialism are wealthy socialites or Hollywood superstars?

 Actual taxi  drivers love Trump.

In essence then, this system means that the man with the gun (Government) forces people to pay inflated prices for basic food items which no one can do without.

The poor are the ones who suffer the most. It has terrible effects on the environment. The ones who benefit the most are large agribusiness conglomerates who can produce unlimited amounts of a product with no competition.

There is also no chance that they will reduce prices by flooding the market. It is almost a licence to print money.

Of course, these wealthy business men will pass money back to the man with the gun (Government) through political donations.

In return, the man with the gun will defend this system and promote it in the schools and universities and TV and radio stations that he runs.

The large agribusinesses will spend big money, advertising in the mainstream media on the condition that they will also promote this system as virtuous.

There is a name for the morality of this system. You will have seen it. Its supporters scream it while attacking anyone who opposes them. They write it on banners and wave them in your face while bashing those who want to even talk about changing the system.

It is called “Social Justice.”

This is such a great series you have produced, Harry! Thanks so much. I am teacher and will be sharing it with my students and colleagues.

Labor is saying that the government doesn't care about border protection indicated by a cut back on sea patrols searching for Suspected Illegal Entry Vessels. Apparently the success of Operation Sovereign Borders and Border Force does not matter? Despite Border Force and RAN success in reducing boat arrivals to very few and far between Labor apparently expects the crisis point sea patrols to continue at taxpayer's expense. Ridiculous.

A woman was at her hairdresser's getting her hair styled for a trip to Rome with her husband. She mentioned the trip to the hairdresser who responded this way:
" Rome? Why would anyone want to go there? It's crowded and dirty. You're crazy to go to Rome. So, how are you getting there?"
"We're taking Continental," was the reply. "We got a great rate!"
"Continental?" exclaimed the hairdresser. "That's a terrible airline. Their planes are old, their flight attendants are ugly, and they're always late. So, where are you staying in Rome?"
"We'll be at this exclusive little place over on Rome's Tiber River called ‘Teste’."
"Don't go any further. I know that place. Everybody thinks it's gonna be something special and exclusive, but it's really a dump."
"We're going to go to see the Vatican and maybe get to see the Pope."
"That's rich," laughed the hairdresser. You and a million other people are trying to see him. He'll look the size of an ant. Boy, good luck on this lousy trip of yours. You're going to need it."

A month later, the woman again came in for a hairdo. The hairdresser asked her about her trip to Rome.

"It was wonderful!" exclaimed the woman. "Not only were we on time in one of Continental's brand new planes, but it was overbooked, and they bumped us up to first class. The food and wine were wonderful, and I had a handsome 28-year-old steward who waited on me hand and foot.
"And the hotel was great! They'd just finished a $5 million remodeling job, and now it's a jewel, the finest hotel in the city. They, too, were overbooked, so they apologized and gave us their owner's suite at no extra charge!"
"Well," muttered the hairdresser, "that's all well and good, but I know you didn't get to see the Pope."
"Actually, we were quite lucky because as we toured the Vatican, a Swiss Guard tapped me on the shoulder, and explained that the Pope likes to meet some of the visitors, and if I'd be so kind as to step into his private room and wait, the Pope would personally greet me.”
“Sure enough, five minutes later, the Pope walked through the door and shook my hand! I knelt down and he spoke a few words to me."

"Oh, really! What'd he say?"

He said, "Who f****d up your hair?"

To those interested, plse note TV viewing Wed 13/03 8.35pm, Australia in Colour pt 2. I enjoyed pt 1 and recommend the series. Some “rusted on” viewers of MKR, Lost in the Playground Surviours, Married when Pissed etc will not be bothered. U fortunately you will miss about 30 mins of Jimmy Barnes.

This guy walks into his lounge where his wife is watching TV, carrying a sheep and says "Darling this is the pig I sleep with when I am not with you" His wife says "You bloody silly fool that is a sheep, not a pig" He replies "I wasn't talking to you" . . . . must have been a Kiwi.

Way down below somebody asked about a documentary on Brexit and the EU. I think I've found it. It's not short (1.11.01), but at 33.30 this starts, "Here is EU regulated man waking from his regulated slumber to start his regulated day. You wouldn't think that you'd need a law for pillowcases but the EU has 5 ..."

Earlier the documentary states that, "the bureaucratic class can find no area of human life that they don't want to write a rule book about." And, "If the list of EU rules could be put into one document ... [Such] a document would reach as high as Nelson's Column."

If the Brits don't leave the EU they are doomed.

US military accused of stealing 50 tons of gold form Syria

According to a source who spoke to Kurdish Bas News Agency, the U.S. forces transferred about 50 tons of gold from areas seized from Daesh terrorists in eastern Syria’s Deir el-Zour region and gave a portion of the remaining gold to the PKK’s Syrian offshoot People’s Protection Units (YPG).

The gold was reportedly transported from the U.S. military base in Kobani.

Meanwhile, 40 tons of gold bullions stolen by Daesh terrorists from Iraq’s Mosul province was also taken by the U.S. forces.

Why Herd Immunity Is a Hoax

What he’s talking about is achieving and maintaining so-called vaccine-acquired “herd immunity,” the theory which maintains that once a majority of people have been vaccinated, the infectious disease in question can no longer spread and everyone is protected, including the tiny minority who for whatever reason are not or cannot be vaccinated.

The problem with this argument is that it doesn’t work for vaccines. While there is such a thing as herd immunity among populations in which a majority has had the infectious disease and acquired a long lasting natural immunity, vaccines confer only temporary artificial immunity, and so true herd immunity is unlikely to be fully achieved, even if nearly 100 percent of the population are vaccinated.
