...Wilson, Gillard and a band of others hope not

Larry Pickering

Four-time Walkley Award winning political commentator and Churchill Fellow, has returned to the fray over concern that the integrity of news dissemination is continually being threatened by a partisan media.

Sarah McNaughton SC has been appointed by Senator Brandis as Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions. Is this appointment a forerunner to the prosecution of Ralph Blewitt and Bruce Wilson?

Sarah McNaughton was paid in excess of $900,000 during the time she devastatingly cross examined Shorten’s union mates, while Counsel Assisting, Jeremy Stoljar, hardly laid a glove on Gillard and Royal Commissioner, Dyson Heydon, did no more than slap Shorten on the wrist.

Justice Heydon, who said that Gillard had not told the truth, recommended that both Blewitt and Wilson be charged. They were not charged, much to Blewitt’s chagrin, because it was Blewitt who brought the massive Gillard/Wilson scam to notice at the risk of finding himself in jail as a result.

You can be sure that Ralph Blewitt will have a few interesting things to say that will almost certainly lead to Julia Gillard being called to the box. Blewitt was privy to the entire scam.

Bruce Wilson and Gillard had an apparent arrangement to protect each other but if Wilson is facing a long jail term his allegiance to his ex-girlfriend may falter.

This glacial RC experience has cost Blewitt and Bob Kernohan plenty of sleep and both deserve a just outcome. Kernohan because he was bashed by Shorten’s thugs for wanting his AWU members to be repaid more than a million in stolen funds and Blewitt because he put his neck on the line to clear the stinking air surrounding Shorten, Gillard and Wilson.

The Victoria Major Fraud Squad has handed its portfolios to their West Australia counterparts to tidy up a few loose ends.

It appears something is afoot.

The full background to what Shorten, Gillard, Wilson and others including Slater and Gordon and Justice Murphy were up to is right here on home page.

It seems that the brilliant Sarah McNaughton, who can command $100,000 a month in fees as Counsel Assisting, is happy to drop her fee by half in accepting The Commonwealth Prosecutor’s role.

Why is that? Does she have the ovaries to finish the job that Justice Heydon and Stoljar lacked the testicles to finish?

Gillard should not be allowed to live the excessive life of Riley on the public purse after ripping voluminous funds from the innocent union members of Shorten’s AWU.

A grand theft that Shorten is still determined to turn a blind eye to.

Not while Daniel Andrews is Premier.

Rump you are joining forces with the joke of PP. You have fallen to new depths chum. Good work dickhead. How desperate the desperate have become.

OT. Important.

There is no basis, either technical or in terms of common sense, to justify the claim
It’s fully funded.
This is one of the greatest hoaxes perpetrated by politicians to trick the voting public into thinking that more free stuff can be handed out by the government and still be affordable.
This con game was much favoured by Labor treasurer Wayne Swan.
But its popularity shows no sign of waning on the Labor side.

You will even hear Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull talk about programs being fully funded.
Here’s the thing:
unless there is a secure legislated trust arrangement in which revenues and expenses are attached to a particular program, the idea of anything being fully funded is just a fraud, particularly in the context of endless budget deficits, rosy scenarios of uninterrupted economic growth and ludicrous 10-year projections.

For the vast bulk of government spending, there is no basis, either technical or in terms of common sense, that can justify a claim that a particular program is fully funded.
Expenses are simply drawn from the consolidated fund and revenues are deposited in that fund.

Even more deceitful is the practice of counting the “savings” of not proceeding with a budget measure, be it a tax cut or spending initiative, and adding this sum to the spurious calculations that supposedly demonstrate that something is fully funded.

It’s a bit like me deciding not to purchase an expensive pair of shoes that I had planned to buy, counting this as saving and then spending the money on an expensive handbag. Evidently, I should take comfort from the fact that my expensive handbag is fully funded.
So picture the scene.
It is May 14, 2013. I have been sitting in the windowless budget lockup room for hours.
My head is resting uncomfortably on the keyboard in front of me because there is no alternative.
Several pieces of paper are shoved in my direction. They purport to provide evidence that the National Disability Funding Scheme is fully funded until 2023-24.

There’s the increase in the Medicare levy — which is at least real additional money — restrictions on the private health insurance rebate, superannuation changes, (the ill-fated) changes to fringe benefits, the increase in the tobacco excise and changes to import processing charges.

There are charts going out years, all the time showing the additional expenses associated with the rollout of the NDIS are lower than the sum of all these revenue and savings measures.
But here’s the thing, the budget papers are telling me to expect a hefty deficit in the coming financial year and in the year after.

And let’s face it, the projections of small surpluses in 2015-16 and 2016-17 in that budget are both wishful and fanciful.
Reality has confirmed this.

Notwithstanding the budget being heavily in the red, we were being told that one component of spending — the NDIS — was fully funded. Wayne Swan and his sidekick, Jenny Macklin, were surely having a lend.

It’s a bit like saying I have the cost of your medications covered, but there is no money for food.

But rather than learn the lessons of those fiscally irresponsible years, Labor under Bill Shorten has actually doubled down on the practice.
The NDIS is fully funded, the Gonski school spending is fully funded, health and hospital spending is fully funded.
Let’s get real, this stuff is the mother of all fiscal fiddles.

What I particularly love is the double counting in all the exercises: the additional tobacco excise revenue is going to fully fund the NDIS but it is also going to fully fund the Gonski spending. (Note that shadow education spokeswoman, Kate Ellis, was heard to yell out “tobacco” when the government queried the claim that Labor’s massive increase in school spending is fully funded.)
And let’s not forget that Labor has over-estimated the likely revenues (over 10 years, of course) of the higher tobacco excise rates by about $20 billion.
Mind you, the presentation of 10-year figures is a complete fudge, designed to obfuscate rather than clarify.

You only have to look at the budget papers (Statement 7, Budget Paper No. 1) to realise that there are massive errors attached to the projections on revenue even for next year, let alone years away.

Take 2017-18, which is not very far off — revenue as a percentage of GDP could be anywhere between 17¾ per cent and 23¾ per cent, according to Treasury. This is plus or minus $90bn.

And yet we are expected to believe revenue projections 10 years out.

No one is that gullible. In all of Labor’s funding plans, it is only by looking over the horizon and making up figures for a 10-year period that the fictitious claim can be made that Labor’s excessive spending plans are fully funded.

The one hope of the side at this stage is Human Services Minister, Christian Porter.
He was never having a bar of those bits of paper pushed in my direction in the 2013 budget.
He acknowledges that NDIS is not fully funded, but he is at least making a half-decent attempt to do something about it.

It is noted in the budget papers, “by 2019-20, the accumulated Disability Care Australia Fund (which has housed the revenue from the higher Medicare levy) will be fully drawn down.
“This combined with the increase in NDIS spending means that there will be a $4.4bn shortfall to be funded from general budget revenue or borrowings [in that year].
This shortfall continues in each year beyond 2019-20.”

In other words, the NDIS was never fully funded;
Swan and Macklin were just trying to pull the wool over our eyes.

A NDIS Savings Fund is to be created and all underspending on the NDIS, as well as savings achieved elsewhere in the welfare space, will be held in this fund.
It’s just a pity that more politicians don’t follow Porter’s approach.
And, by the way, don’t promise something that cannot be delivered in a truly fiscally responsible way. The cumulative total of budget deficits since 2008-09 is $355bn.
To offer new spending on the basis that is fully funded is both deceitful and reckless — a point that applies to both sides of politics.
Even more deceitful is the practice of counting the ‘savings’.
Liars and we are voting for these con men and women.
WE are the DUMB ones here.

Donna, the Pilliga Scrub/Forrest is near Barradine, west of Gunnedah, Central Western NSW. I am talking about the Far North Coast of NSW, and SE QLD.
BTW, I have heard that about the Pilliga, incidents.

Jews Celebrate Obama's Latest Transgender Policy
As has been well documented, the organized Jewish community has played a leading role in promoting and elevating both transgenderism and homosexuality. The Jews even admit as much.
The Jewish Daily Forward
(JTA) — Amid controversy over new protections President Barack Obama has extended to transgender people, a number of Jewish groups have welcomed them.
A statement Friday from the Reform movement’s Religious Action Center praised the guidance issued the same day by the Justice and Education departments requiring that schools receiving federal funds end discrimination based on sexual identification.
“We urge all public schools to swiftly and fully comply with this directive so that transgender and gender non-conforming individuals are treated with the dignity and respect they deserve,” the RAC statement said.
The guidance, which warns that failure to comply could cost schools federal money, says students must access restrooms, shower facilities and other sex-segregated areas based on their gender identity, not on their gender as recorded at birth.
A number of states and local authorities have said they will ignore the guidance; some have threatened to sue the federal government over it.
The National Council for Jewish Women said the guidance “provides needed clarity and best practices for public school districts and institutions of higher learning.”
Also praising the guidance was Rabbi Jack Moline, who directs Interfaith Alliance, a coalition that includes major Jewish national groups.
“No matter whether antipathy toward transgender Americans is motivated by ignorance or a particular – misguided, I believe – theological understanding of gender, neither has a place in our public schools,” he said in a statement.

Here you are, gents! The Islamic rules for going to the toilet! Hilarious!

Islamic Toilet Etiquette

Question: What are the rules and manners to be followed when answering the call of nature?
1. When entering the toilet, one should say the A'udhu (isti'adha) and Basmala and then recite the prayer "Allahumma innee a'oodhu bika minal khubthi wal khabaa-ith."

2. When entering the toilet, one should not have in one's hand anything on which the name of Allahu ta'ala or any verse of the Qur'an al-karim is written. There is no objection if it is in one's pocket or covered with something. Similarly, when stepping into the toilet, one should not be wearing a pendant with the name of Allah on it. If one has, one should tuck it inside the neck of one's sweater before entering it.

3. It is permissible to enter the toilet with an amulet if it is covered properly.

4. One should enter the toilet with one's left foot and exit with one's right foot.

5. One should recite the prayer "Alhamdu-lil-laa-hil-la-dhi adh-haba 'a-nil a-dhaa wa 'a-faa-ni" when exiting the toilet.

6. One should not talk or sit for a long time or read anything like a newspaper or sing a song or smoke or chew gum in the toilet.

7. After cleaning one's private parts, one should cover them immediately.

8. One should neither face the Qibla nor turn one's back toward it while urinating or defecating.

9. One should remove the feces on one's anus with one's finger and wash one's hand. If there are still traces of filth, one should wash them with water.

10. When cleaning the private parts after answering the call of nature, men should wash them from the back to the front. Women should wash them from the front to the back. Thus, the genitals will not be smeared with filth, nor will it cause one to be sexually aroused by the stimulation of fingers.

11. One should dry one's private parts with a cloth after washing them. If there is not a cloth available, it is permissible to use toilet paper because toilet paper is produced to be used after answering the call of nature. But using other kinds of paper for this purpose is not permissible.

12. One should sprinkle some water over one's underpants after cleaning one's private parts. By doing so, when one notices wetness on one's underpants, one will not feel doubt as to whether it is urine or not. One should assume it to be the sprinkled water and should not fall into baseless misgivings (waswasa).

13. After cleaning their private parts, men should do istibra. Women do not do it. Istibra means not to leave any drops of urine in the urethra. It is done by walking or coughing or lying on the left side.

14. If a man exits the toilet without doing istibra, drops of urine may come out and soil his underwear. Therefore, he should insert a cotton wick as big as a barley seed into his urinary hole, whereby he will prevent urine from oozing out.

15. Istinka means a feeling of being sure and having no doubts that there are no drops of urine left, and one's heart is at ease about it. A man can make wudu' after this certitude in his heart.

16. One should not look at one's private parts or spit into the toilet.

17. One should not urinate while standing unless there is strong necessity for doing so and should not let drops of urine splash onto one's clothes. To that end, one should keep separate pajamas or tracksuit. It is mustahab to enter the toilet with separate pajamas and with the head covered.

18. One should wash one's hands after using the toilet.

19. One must not urinate into any water, on a wall of a mosque, in a cemetery, or on a road.

20. Cleaning the private parts with stones and similar materials is an acceptable substitute for cleaning them with water.

Question: Is it better to have separate clothes to wear in the toilet?
Yes, it is better. Wearing separate clothes for the toilet and staying there with your head covered is mustahab. (Se'âdet-i Ebediyye)

Question: I think that a western-style flush toilet is more comfortable to use. Is it permissible to use a western-style toilet instead of a squat one?
If one, when using a sit-down toilet, can clean one's private parts comfortably and spray from one's urine does not come back on one's clothes, there is nothing wrong with using it. However, using a squat toilet has many health benefits:
1. Cleaning filth is easier.
2. Spray from urine is less likely to come back on one's body and clothes.
3. As one's colon is emptied completely, the urinary bladder and bowels relax.
4. When one is in the squatting position, fecal matter does not remain in the tube along which it moves and is expelled from the body. Western physicians who studied why urinary tract- and colon-related diseases were uncommon among Muslims found that it was because Muslims did not use sit-down toilets.

Urinary system disorders, especially prostate problems, are very distressing things, which have a negative effect on the happiness of a family. Men must not urinate while standing, and Muslims should choose (between squatting and sitting) the best one for health.

Question: Is it mustahab for both men and women to enter the toilet by covering their heads? Can a woman enter the toilet by covering her head with an underscarf (hijab accessory) instead of a headscarf?
Yes, it is mustahab to enter the toilet with a covered head. A woman's wearing an underscarf suffices for this purpose.

Question: What is the sunnat method of squatting in the toilet? Should one put both hands or one hand one one's cheek?
The right hand is placed on the right cheek and the left hand is placed on the left one. This is the sunnat method. When there is the need to use a hand, the right hand should remain on the right cheek and the left hand should be used. This is the proper way.

You obviously hit the spot Donna.

Doona you are rather sporadic these days my princess, please contribute more, such wonderful insight. We all wait with garlic breath for the next chapter. Rather cheap shots of pot calling kettle black. Xxxx.

And beware of those drop bears.

Stop paying taxes and all governments will disappear down the gurglar

That was a Yowie. There are plenty of Yowies around SEQ and Northern NSW. There is a sign, on the Summerland Way, just before the Mt Lindsay Hwy intersection that warns about Yowies mating at night. ;-)),152.6573119,3a,75y,305.58h,87.18t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sOWE8qYZB6t4eGGH5SZPmPg!2e0!7i13312!8i6656

See, would I BS you?? ;-)))

Do you want Waleed Aly as your next Pm? He will be.

Listened in on Friday evening to 2SM. Carter Edwards must have just found out about the perverts teaching year 3 about all the different sex identifying units. He wasn't happy. Good. Vic is leading this rubbish. Can't recall the name of the teacher, he was saying it's a woman trying to be a bloke or some such. Pushing Marxism and proud of it. Leave the kids alone.

You are banging your head on a brick wall paisley. When you hate someone enough, everything they do will be perceived as evil.

That is a silly statement Gail Louise. It would be like me saying that those who are going to put Shorten in instead of Malcolm are vengeful. Let's not bite off our noses to spite our own faces. I don't need any justification to make the adult decision.

I also took the liberty of letting Debbie know about emails not being answered, by the Melbourne office. I don't like dobbing on anyone in ,but I was worried by the re-action of some people, that ALA would lose votes over this. Debbie's repIy .." sorry everyone is upset. I hope they understand that there is so much happening. I will let the Melbourne office know about how people are feeling.

Hopefully you will have your flyers by now we sent them on the 6th May.

Good luck with your hip operation in another life (when I was young) I used to look after and nurse people who had undergone total hip replacements. No doubt procedures will have improved since then.

Thank you for your support and for helping Ron.

Kind regards,

Debbie Robinson
Senate Candidate for Western Australia

I have since received this email from Ron. "I am attaching a copy of the initial flyer and a summary of my policies for Farrer which you are free to distribute as widely as possible.
When we are coming down there I will let you know.
We are organising a meeting in Albury for 28th. May.
As with all elections raising campaign finance is a basic issue, so I am also giving you the account details which you are free to pass on to anyone who may feel inclined to assist financially.
All the best.
Ron Pike."

Just had a great phone call from Ron Pike, ALA's Lower House candidate for Farrer. He needs all the support he can get in the Farrer section of the Riverina .It seems the Senate candidates are being helped financially but the House of Reps have to fund themselves, money being tight in the fledgling party.

Thanks Sandy57, but I am not a learned person, just surrounded by a few dimwits on this forum. Anyway, I don't think you are wasting time although that is what they (the Australian piranhas) as you so appropriately refer to them want you to think.
