ALL YOU EVER WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT HALAL CERTIFICATION

Larry Pickering

Four-time Walkley Award winning political commentator and Churchill Fellow, has returned to the fray over concern that the integrity of news dissemination is continually being threatened by a partisan media.

A three month investigation by pickeringpost.com has uncovered what may be the definitive guide to international halal certification. Some surprising facts have emerged including damning evidence from Muslims themselves who have labelled the "certification" practice as an outright scam.

This fascinating and objective multi-part expose documents how Islam has infiltrated every corner of our lives.

It exposes the truth, despite litigation threats, and it starts right here next Saturday,.

Keep up the good work Larry. Can't wait until next Saturday

Roll on next Saturday!

IMO, eating halal certified food is just as offensive as eating contaminated berries from China.

This is how our PM sees it......
Thank you for letting me know your views on halal certification.I respectfully disagree with your view. The choice of any Australian business to certify or sell halal food is theirs to make. There should not be any compulsion to sell or not to sell any form of food.As halal certification does not risk the health and safety of consumers, it is not government’s place to interfere in commercial decisions.Australia is a free, fair and diverse society. Religious freedom is a settled part of the Australian tradition. We are free to choose our religion, and should be able to express and practice our religion, without intimidation and without interference, as long as those practices are within the law.
Yours sincerely

Any news on Kirralie's court case yet, does anybody know?

IT IS ABOUT TIME WE AUSTRALIANS STARTED BOYCOTTING ALL THE SUPERMARKETS, FAST FOOD OUTLETS AND ANYONE OR ANYTHING THAT HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE HALAL CON!

Who is this fuckwit IndignantElder ? don't feed the trolls :-)

What, am I supposed to be happy and carefree about this grub pinching my ID and avatar ?

It is foolish to believe in anything without question, but by the same token, it is just as foolish to be a person closed to any experiences that may change their way of thinking? I would guess that very few atheists return to organised religion? Fair enough but it seems to me that most atheists do not progress above atheism. If we imagine human spiritual growth to advance upwards like the rungs of a ladder, my opinion is that there are many rungs higher than atheism. The higher rungs are not attained by reading books. As I said earlier they come from life experiences. That is my opinion.

Hey Guys. Remember when talk descends to this level it shows your intelligence.

We still need to remain open enough to allow new possiblities to be given a chance?

This is what I have been saying all along - I put myself into a third category - because of the flaws in either having blind faith, or totally dismissing it.

With due respect, I am part of humanity, and you don't know me, so you really can't judge on what I am, or am not, qualified to have an opinion on.

'I find that believers and non-believers are filled with hypocrisy' hah.. that's funny, because you and I can fall into either category. Like I've said, humans are not black and white like the text on your screen. I'm a bit of a pan-dimensionalist myself :)

having a 'need to believe' leaves one open to exploitation. I don't have a 'need to believe', I have curiousity and experience. You're speaking for humanity with that last comment, and, with due repsect, I don't think you're qualified to speak for us all.

I find that believers and non-believers are filled with hypocrisy.

@Thorn - i do agree with you on that last comment. No arguments. I just see religion as dogma, and spirituality as 'energy' .. i don't follow or support religion - hence my opposition to halal and kosher certification of generic foods and consumables.

Humans have a need to believe that there is purpose to what they are doing. Lives have to have meaning. Sometimes people search for meaning in places and things that are negative or destructive, to themselves, and others.

Why do we have to be either believers or non-believers why can't we just be open to whatever comes along? Energy exists. Energy is real. Everything is energy. Believe in that.

I'm not surprised that Kerry Packer didn't see anything.
