"The oceans will boil"
Said the man in the ivory tower
Unless you stop wasting your power
The oceans will boil
And you’ll bake all the soil
And drought will wilt every flower.

Same dickheads want to blaim the extinction of the mega fauna on humans ,and would blaim the demise of the Dinosaurs on humans too if they could Our so-called leaders has gone AWOL.

Happy Birthday Al Gore -
Happy “Earth Hour”
This Saturday has been designated, by the crazy left wing “environmentalists” who determine such things, as the day for the first International Earth Hour.Concerned citizens of the Planet are supposed to get out of their cars, turn off their lights, and sit in the dark for an hour to show their unity with Nature. The website designates 8:30 PM as the official start of Earth Hour, but does not specify whether that is 8:30 PM in one particular time zone, or 8:30 PM in each time zone on Earth. Perhaps there are 24 Earth Hours; it’s hard to say.
One thing is sure. Any and all Earth Hours will take place on March 31, the birthday of global warming Profit of Doom Al Gore.

The fact that Gore only gets only an hour of honor on his birthday shows where he ranks among the Heroes of the Left. The “environmentalist” watermellons (green on the outside, red on the inside) who establish these things have carved out a whole day for Soviet founder Vladimir Lenin.
Every April 22, on Lenin’s birthday, the Polically Correct celebrate “Earth Day.” The first Earth Day was April 22 of 1970, the hundredth aniversary of Lenin’s birth, and the Left has led gullible liberal movement-joiners in celebrating it each year since then.
Al Gore and the organizers of Earth Hour had better not plan on much cooperation in the state of Kentucky. At 8:30 PM Kentucky time the University of Louisville will be just finishing a Final Four basketball game against the U. of Kentucky, to decide which team from that state will move on to the final game for the NCAA championship. Lights and TV’s will be on all over the state, and refrigerator doors will be opening and closing at a rapid rate. (Out in Seattle it will be 5:30, and the Fuller household will be rooting for Louisville.)
The idea of an hour of darkness is actually not completely unprecedented. In 1879, when leftist hero Lenin was only nine years old, American hero Thomas Edison demonstrated his electric light for the news media. When Edison died fifty-two years later, President Herbert Hoover issued a statement asking all Americans to turn off their lights for one minute in tribute to the man who had illuminated the world. (Hoover had the good sense to clearly define the time: 10:00 PM Eastern Time.)
Unlike this Earth Hour nonsense, the minute of darkness to honor Edison was almost universally observed in the United States. Edison’s friend and protege Henry Ford sat with Firestone Tire founder Harvey Fireston in Fireston’s apartment in Manhattan watching the entire city of New York go dark, while the same thing was happening all across the nation.
Americans, good sensible people that they were, were more than willing to express their respect for, and gratitutude to, a man who had done so much to improve their lives.
This weekend the vast majority of Americans will have the good sense to ignore the left wing screwballs who want us all to honor a retired Vice President who’s been trying to take those same conveniences away from us.

False profits –

1970 Shock News : Global Warming To Raise Temperatures Nine Degrees By 2020
From: Popular Mechanics. July 1970
"Science Worldwide" by John F. Pearson
"Drastic global climate changes will occur within the next 50 years if the use of fossil fuels keeps rising at current rates.
That warning comes from Eugene K. Peterson of the Department of the Interior's Bureau of Land Management. Increased levels of carbon dioxide would raise worldwide temperatures by 9 degrees through a "greenhouse" effect: CO2 traps heat reflected from the earths surface, warming the atmosphere.
The temperature rise says Peterson, is likely to cause a virtual disappearance of snow from the US mainland; an increase in earthquakes and volcanic eruptions, the latter adding to the CO2 problem; a four-feet rise in ocean levels and an absence of ice in the Arctic Ocean for six months of the year....."

Oceans boil all the time, a little at a time. It's called evaporation, part of hydrological cycle. And what goes up into the air comes back down. A lot of it, back into the oceans. But it's nothing that should cause us to pay through the nose as Greenist Dogma.

James Cook University and climate change sceptic Peter Ridd in court battle over Great Barrier Reef science

Julian Tomlinson, The Cairns Post February 8, 2018

James Cook University physics professor Peter Ridd is locked in a battle over free speech and scientific inquiry that brings into sharp relief the lengths institutions will go to protect the rivers of gold coming from governments hoodwinked by global warming alarmism.

Prof. Ridd’s “crime” was to say the science – especially climate science – used by his colleagues to paint a grim picture of Great Barrier Reef health was not properly tested or replicated.

But instead of fighting back with science, the university has threatened Ridd with the sack unless he shuts up.

It has also been accused of trawling through hundreds of his private emails trying to dig up dirt on him.

JCU had found him guilty of “serious misconduct”, including denigrating a co-worker, denigrating the university, breaching confidentiality, publishing information outside of the university and disregarding his obligations as an employee.

Ridd by filing a motion with the Federal Court to overturn the uni’s ruling and to defend academic freedom.

He also went public with a plea for donations to help pay the $95,000 legal bill.

Amazingly – and in what should be a wake-up call to governments obsessed with misguided climate change activism – Ridd raised nearly $100,000 from 842 donors in just two days.

Everyone from the Institute of Public Affairs think tank to little old grannies donated anywhere from $5 to $5000 each to ensure Ridd could fight those who think the only acceptable science is their version of science.

The overwhelming response from average people should be a clear indication of the waning belief in climate scaremongering, and the shrill hyperbole surrounding reef health.

JCU has form for censuring staff with the wrong scientific opinion.

It parted ways with climate sceptic (sceptics are called “realists” in some circles) Prof. Bob Carter who held an honorary position in 2013.

It should also be noted that JCU’s online bio on Carter simply states he was passionate about climate science “and its relation to anthropogenic influences”, without saying he didn’t actually believe in those influences.

“The time has come where calls for better quality control for GBR science are making some impact and now is not the time to throw in the towel. Quite the opposite in fact,” said Ridd.

“I think most of the scientists who are pushing out this stuff genuinely believe there are problems with the Reef, I just don’t think they’re very objective about the science they do, I think they’re emotionally attached to their subject.”

Ridd has copped criticism for not being a coral reef expert but he specialises in marine environments (including the GBR) and is attached to JCU’s Centre for Tropical Water and Aquatic Ecosystem Research.

Since the court case was launched late last year, Ridd and colleague Piers Larcombe published a paper calling for the need to form an independent body to verify scientific claims about the GBR.

They stated that when recently-published science papers were checked, about 50 per cent were wrong. There are so many bodies with their hands out for reef funding that it’s hard to obtain a definite figure, but since 2013, it would have to be well over half a billion dollars – and that’s just federally.

Throw in state funding and it’s a staggering amount to throw at science that’s half-right.

Another example Ridd uses is that one paper which claimed coral growth had declined by 15 per cent since the 1940s had two major errors which, when corrected, showed coral growth had increased slightly.

He also casts shade on claims runoff from North Queensland cane farms is harming the Reef by saying more water flushes the Reef from the Pacific every eight hours, than what reaches it from the land in a year.

Ridd – and others around the world including Mark Steyn who is being sued for criticising Prof. Michael Mann’s “hockey stick” graph – is finding out just how dangerous it is to challenge the climate mafia.

If the climate change lobby is right, it would present proof that human emissions are causing catastrophic warming and end the whole debate.

But that proof doesn’t exist, so they have to resort to censorship. This is a huge worry, especially when our elected leaders have been cowed by consistently-wrong activists into signing away millions of dollars.

If we aren’t allowed to hear from all scientists, we cannot say we live in a truly free society and we’re only hearing propaganda.

UN Climate change treaty ratified by Australia 1994

"......The relatively warm waters of the North Atlantic Drift are responsible for moderating the climate of western Europe, so that winters are less cold than would otherwise be expected at its latitude. Without the warm North Atlantic Drift, the UK and other places in Europe would be as cold as Canada, at the same latitude. For example, without this steady stream of warmth the British Isles winters are estimated to be more than 5 °C cooler, bringing the average December temperature in London to about 2°C......"

The Myth of Global Warming
Published on January 20, 2016
Written by Anthony Bright-Paul
The idea that the Globe is warming has been repeated so often and by so many eminent scientists of both sides – I mean both by Warmists and Skeptics – that surely it must true. But the fact is that nothing could be farther from the truth. Believe me, any Tom Dick or Harry with reasonable intelligence can prove this to himself – or herself, if I must be politically correct.
There is no such entity as a Global Temperature. Wait a moment! A few days ago I was assured by email by none other than Professor John Christy that there is an average Global Temperature. Who am I to disagree? And remember he is a renowned Skeptic at the University of Alabama for Space Studies. Sure there is an average temperature, though God alone knows how he or any of the others work it out. But I did not deny some sort of average. What I have said and I repeat – There is no such entity as a Global Temperature. That is entirely different to an average.

Flannery has already proved that he is a least a dickhead and at worst a liar.

Flannery on Q&A telling us that Australia needs 200 of his sort of people to advice the government with their xspurt advice seeing these people just like Flannery would be seen as intelligent ? I have a better idea, stop Flannery type people from advising the government seeing their xspurt advice so far has not met the expectations forced on us by those dills in government who couldn't think for themselves .

If sea levels are going to rise how come banks are still lending money to buy waterfront properties??

IT IS A TOTAL FRAUD. Ottmar Edenhofer, who co-chaired the U.N.’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) working group on Mitigation of Climate Change from 2008 to 2015 stated:
“One has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy. This has almost nothing to do with the environmental policy anymore, with problems such as deforestation or the ozone hole …… We redistribute de facto the world’s wealth by climate policy ……….. the next world climate summit in Cancun is actually an economy summit during which the distribution of the world’s resources will be negotiated. “

He should dig a hole and climb in, do us all a favour.

These people are complete imbeciles.

Is climate change tax deductable ? We could make a profit from it .

If the oceans are going to boil away due to increased CO2 in the atmosphere how come we're still here today? After all CO2 has been at much higher levels in the past. What an old fraud Hanson is/was.

A Con so we all freeze when the cycle of cooling really hits hard ,so we are unprepared and they can cull as many of us as possible, when crops fail, livestock numbers plummet, food runs out ,clever con by PTB ,so many fell for it .....................while they sit in their underground Bases ,watching the ''fun'' on TV !!!!!!

If all of the Current Oil and say, coal, that is currently in the earth, was running around as gas, now, at this very moment. maybe the greenies would have something to say.

But it is amazing, that The Earth, survived that, even flourished.
