The Climate See-saw

Anyone who looks carefully at radiation science and the thermodynamics of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere will come to the conclusion that carbon dioxide alone cannot cause a global warming crisis. Even sensible warmists know this.

So warmists invoke “positive feedbacks” or multipliers, which they say will tip earth into runaway global warming.

Their theory is that an initial small warming will increase evaporation of water from the oceans and methane from the tundra. These two “greenhouse gases” will then cause more atmospheric warming, progressively expelling more carbon dioxide from the warming oceans. “Oceans will boil” claimed warmist leader James Hansen. They also claim that after a postulated “tipping point”, Earth will never recover its balmy equilibrium.

However, they ignore substantial negative feedbacks that act to moderate any tendency to excessive global warming. For example, evaporation cools water bodies and carries surface heat into the upper atmosphere where it dissipates to space. Extra evaporation also produces more clouds that reflect heat and cool the surface. Also methane oxidises and extra plant growth absorbs more solar energy, water vapour and carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

Moreover, the long history of the Earth reveals periods when temperatures and carbon dioxide levels were far higher than today but life flourished and Earth always returned to cooler times – sometimes an ice age. Earth’s climate oscillates like a see-saw, with periodic changes in cycles in the sun and the solar system keeping the see-saw slowly oscillating.

There is no evidence supporting the theory of a global warming tipping point.

Today we live in a balmy climate cycle but in the grand climate cycles, the barren hungry ice is always waiting its turn.

Every human alive today is descended from a long line of smart and adaptable ancestors. Those who stay smart and adaptable will survive future see-saws of the climate.

The LEADERS of the Phillipines are questioning our non-acceptance of the 'science' are they? What about the science of building tree huts on the shore in an area lashed by typhoons for centuries? For a mob whose experience with technology doesn't extend beyond the bicycle, or the disposable cigarette lighter (the use therof, not the construction or any understanding of why hot stuff comes out the end) that's rich.

Yep Oigle, THAT orta help things along Mate <:-/

Explanation of ATOMIC BOMBS Below;
Time lapse map of every nuclear explosion ever on Earth
Japanese artist Isao Hashimoto has created a beautiful, undeniably scary time-lapse map of the 2053 nuclear explosions which have taken place between 1945 and 1998, beginning with the Manhattan Project’s “Trinity” test near Los Alamos and concluding with Pakistan’s nuclear tests in May of 1998. This leaves out North Korea’s two alleged nuclear tests in this past decade (the legitimacy of both of which is not 100% clear)Each nation gets a blip and a flashing dot on the map whenever they detonate a nuclear weapon, with a running tally kept on the top and bottom bars of the screen. Hashimoto, who began the project in 2003, says that he created it with the goal of showing”the fear and folly of nuclear weapons.” It starts really slow — if you want to see real action, skip ahead to 1962 or so — but the buildup becomes overwhelming

The Greens are despicable. They are enemies of reason, and the question is whether their sin is ignorance or deceit. ( I go for DECEIT).
“Well, I think if the Prime Minister is out there referring to the Leader of the Opposition as ‘Electricity’ Bill, then he can be expected to be referred to as Typhoon Tony himself. The head in the sand approach to global warming in the face of the leaders of the Philippines themselves saying this is what we are in store for unless we get global warming under control makes Australia an international pariah and shows that really at the end of the day Tony Abbott does not believe the science.”

I heard that the Philippines Super Tornado was Tony Abbotts fault?
How? When? Why?

Two philosophies I know to be true. Firstly, 'History is written by the victors' and secondly, 'nothing happens without a reason'. So as far as climate change goes and in the absence of perfect hindsight showing the results of any action we or anybody else might undertake in combating it, we can only 'follow the money'. Who is going to get rich out of these schemes and at whose expense will the transfer of wealth take place?

Poor countries seek payment of ''climate debt'' through the UN
If you're a believer climate debt can only be sought from God, not the UN
BR, I was watching the typhoon on satellite, when I saw it travel in a straight line I knew they were in trouble. I wasn't aware of the topography where it hit but obviously it ''contained'' the tidal surge which did most of the damage. The centre pressure wasn't extraordinary so I knew the assumed wind speeds were exaggerated mostly by the love media. I studied Meteorology 40 years ago, typhoons are normal in that part of the world. This typhoon hit the wrong spot and we can see from the photos it was a tsunami-like event. To label it the worst is absurd, no doubt many have perished. In my lifetime I've seen many Monsoons kill ½ million people.

Just loved the reporting of this from around the world. One channel said it has never been seen before on such a scale. Another said it was the worse in a decade.

I’d like to add my truthful comment: ‘It had to be the worse one of the week!”

Where do these journos get their source from and who checks them? Is there such a thing as a journalist these days, or are they just repeaters of stories they’ve heard somewhere?

The Super Typhoon wasn't ever a Category 4. It is all MSM beat up.

I'm appalled that some major charities pay huge amounts to their administration while many of the workers on the ground are volunteers however it's far better to give a starving family ¾ of a loaf of bread than none at all

For the likes of the great redwood trees and the massive rain forests to flourish you need warmth and most of all Carbon dioxide for the plant and tree growth as well as ample water....It was just such a period in the cycle of the earth that such massive growth too place. The plants and trees grew to massive sizes and so did many of the animals evolve into larger and more robust models of themselves.
The ice caps have been at minimal levels previously as recently as the 14th century and the land did not drown and the planet and its peoples just got on with life.
The stupid part of all this bullshit alarm-ism is that a severe ice age period is far more detrimental to the planet than any warming period could ever be. Logic dictates that if the land is frozen how the hell do you grow crops?
