Larry Pickering

Four-time Walkley Award winning political commentator and Churchill Fellow, has returned to the fray over concern that the integrity of news dissemination is continually being threatened by a partisan media.

“I’m confronted by it”, says Tony Abbott... and so are the vast majority of Australians. Polls show the noisy Left has clearly lost the burka debate and now it’s time for Australia to join countries right across Europe, supported by court rulings, that have banned this outrageous Islamic attire. It’s not only confronting, it’s offensive, unhealthy, obnoxious, discourteous and about as un-Australian as you can get.

It’s a nightmare for the security sector, coppers, prosecutors and an open invitation to suicide bombers and shoplifters who need have no fear of CCTV cameras. Along with mosques that promote our demise, it is a symbol of all things non-inclusive about Islam.

The burka is an exclusive “up your nose” gesture of non-compliance with all things Australian and our Prime Minister should listen to the almost 80% of fair-minded Aussies who want the damned monstrosity gone from our landscape.

A naked woman quietly doing her shopping in a supermarket is less confronting than an unidentified “somebody” in a burka.

But guess who gets arrested?

What are They Plotting in Poland

I’M OFFENDED JULIA, WHY DIDN’T YOU ASK ME? I do really good portraits

If the naked bird and the one in the burka were in Morayfield in Queensland, it'd be the naked one because that place is the population centre for 17yo girls that make sumo wrestlers look slim.

Enough of the whinging and moaning you whimps - be positive, do something except complain all the bloody time ! Check out what the Australian Liberty Alliance proposes to end the Islamisation of Australia, and all of your worry's and concerns that you post here. ...........

If someone hides their eyes from me, I hide my thoughts from them.

Commeth the hour, commeth the party ! (let's hope eh ?

The more weak-kneed backdowns, grovelling and 'politically correct' Muslim-arse-kissing antics I see of Government Ministers the more interested I become in the ALA and the more I think it a genuine alternative to our seemingly frightened and gutless Government. The sight of Shorten at that Islamic thingo the other day was to be expected from the ALP and those who it attracts (a vote for the ALP is a vote for sharia) but the sight of Morrison (begging for a few votes that he won't get) was nothing short of a national disgrace. What are our so-called leaders so afraid of?

Bill Shorten's 'bogans and rednecks'. He should know.

This garb would certainly hide the Muslim domestic violence, yeah? Even the kids could not vouch for it.

Paul Simon got it right: 'the words and the signs of the prophets are written on the subway walls, and tenement halls.'

Not hearing anything from either side regarding the Halal racket? Simple answer is to mandate that there must always be an equal, at least, presentation of non Halal products for those who wish to buy same. seems only fair?

Every time another Australian sees a woman wearing the niqab - and even the hijab/headscarf - he/she's being told quite blatantly "I'm different, and I plan to stay that way".

I have no problem with women of other cultures wearing traditional dress in the countries where that traditional dress is the norm. However, I struggle to see why someone escaping what must have been terrible living conditions - (why else would you uproot yourself and move halfway around the world to a totally alien culture?) - go out of their way to introduce those very conditions they "escaped" from.

The only answer that makes any sense to me is that they are not escaping, but colonizing.

Got a feeling Tony Abbott will back track with the burka and any sort of face covering. Sorry but looks as though Tony seems week when it comes to Islam.

In actual fact, the Niqab is a small sheet as is the thing the men wear on their heads is a small sheet. So the women are "sheet faced" and the men are "sheet heads

The petition to ban Halal Certification rort is now over 10,000 signatures.

They actually wear them to keep the men away, why would they want a male when they have had "the man in a boat" removed? What, lay back and think of allah, The men are obviously dud roots.

Only prostitutes should be allowed to wear niqab/burqa.

Keeps the flies on the bride - not the food of the wedding guests !

If you told them ,you still want to wear that garbage then you can go back to the ulcerated shithole from whence you came. Burkas would disappear overnight.

On a positive note, SHY, Rhiannon and Milne would improve their appearance if they put on the niqab (is that the same as the photo?)
