Replace Kim Jong IL name with Gough Whitlam for the day he got sacked .

Bit of a furore this morning about new MP Lucy Guichi telling Kenyan tv that ""two hundred grand a year is not much money"" Well firstly she only had that job by default, as the winner had legal problems i believe , secondly she only got a very small vote , in the very low hundreds , Now not complaining about ambitious people , but we dislike having the public purse being ""milked"" by already well off people especially our elected officials.( I note she owns several investment properties and started life in aus on social sec,)she obviously thinks the aus public have a deep purse,Is this an example of why political reforms in her home land is so hard ie the rewards go to the top, and stuff the ordinary people .

Look at the different signatures under the cartoons ,some are different

That cartoon reminds me of when Shirley of Skyhooks who died in a chopper crash, it affected many Australians causing them to shed tears

Welcome back Larry , we missed you.

Timely re-use of an old cartoon. I would love to have the entire collection of Larry's political satire cartoons. Some of his best featured Gillard, one in particular sticks in my mind of her and Nova Peris doing a corroboree.

Please note this is a re-post from 2011 on Rocket Man's fathers death
Best wishes Larry
