SETTLED SCIENCE? You'd be surprised

When you think of a scientist do you imagine a little eccentric bloke in a white coat, fuzzy hair, and round glasses? Well, I do and we are all wrong!

ODDS SHORTEN ON SHORTEN...

while Labor stays blind to his bloodied hands

It seems the Parliamentary wing of Labor still hasn’t learnt the lessons of the past and present. Neither has the rank and file. Bill Shorten stands for all that is wrong with Labor and his pious entreaties for party votes ring hollow to those who know the real Bill Shorten.

FOUR BEAUTIFUL GIRLS... ONE UGLY MOTHER

The sordid saga of the four Italian girls simmers and still no-one is winning this awful tug of war. Okay, my involvement with the father, Tomasso Vincenti, was an emotional one as I witnessed his willingness to suffer to see his children.

INDONS WILL TOE THE LINE WITH TONY

If you watched the ABC you would believe Abbott had no hope of stopping the boats. The Left would like you to believe that, but the truth is a long way from it.

"SORRY TONY, I STUFFED UP!"

WA Premier, Colin Barnett, made the same mistake as the Rudd/Gillard/Rudd Government; he believed the mining bubble would never burst and spent accordingly.

DOUBLY DISILLUSIONED

The ALP is embracing collegiate elections, you know, those foreign things that are conducted by comparable countries. I mean even New Zealand elected its Opposition leader in this way. But there is one thing everyone seems to have missed:

AUNTY'S UNDIES ON THE NOSE

It will not be high on Abbott’s list of things to do, and in the short term there’s not much that he can do about it, but the ABC’s systemic Left-wing bias should not be left to fester too much longer.

NO WOMAN NO CRY

Perhaps the voters of Oz were gun shy when they gave Abbott fewer women to choose from for his Cabinet. Was the recent nightmare of Gillard’s handbag brigade too fresh in voters’ minds?

A SYRIAN SOLUTION

... and the KGB 'action man' outwits Obama

UK PM Cameron took the “bomb Syria” solution to Parliament and was handed a flat “no”. Obama tried to convince Congress and was failing dismally... he was left out on a limb, so with KGB guile, Putin positioned himself for a bloodless slam dunk.

JULIA DUMPS HER 'BLOKE'

... for Greener pastures

Left wing on-line rag ‘The Guardian’ yesterday was told by a shattered Julia Gillard that, “Labor unambiguously sent a very clear message that it cared about nothing other than the prospects of survival of its members of parliament at the polls."

PLIBERSEK A NOT SO DARK HORSE

Despite Bob Hawke’s advice that she should not covet the ALP leadership because she has a three-year-old child, Tanya Plibersek clearly sees herself as a phoenix rising from the ashes of Julia Gillard and, like Julia, step one is the role of deputy.

SYRIA...

it ain't necessarily so

I was told as a child to believe nothing of what I read and only half of what I see. It now appears the sensible course is to believe nothing of either.
