Tashfeen Malik, Islamic devotee and wife of Syed Farook, pledged allegiance to ISIS’s commander Al Baghdadi during the massacre at a function centre in San Bernardino, California. It was she who appeared to have been directing the slaughter of her husband’s work mates, as both sprayed the function centre with bullets, killing 14 before meeting their own grisly deaths.
The word “radicalised” has been injected into the Islam debate specifically to distance the “good” Muslim from the “bad” one. How often does the apologist for Islam say, “... don’t be silly, I have lovely Muslim friends”? Yesterday’s slaughter was just another instance of Islamic terrorism that proves you can only be a friend of a Muslim if you too are a Muslim. Islam can never be trusted in the same way as other forms of faith.
An open vote in the House of Commons is likely to pave the way for the Brits to join Russia in bombing ISIS. Labour’s Socialist Left Leader Jeremy Corbyn was forced into allowing his Party a free vote which looks like going against him in a 12 hour marathon debate. PM Cameron could begin bombing in Syria within hours of the vote.
If Abbott hung on too long to Speaker Bronwyn Bishop, who spent $5,000 on a helicopter getting to a Party fundraiser, then Deputy Leader Bishop’s extravagant spend of $30,000 on a RAAF jet for the same reason means her time is already well and truly up. But stand by to witness more of media’s blatant bias and Turnbull’s lack of mettle.
The short answer is, “What drugs are you on?” But the long answer is more interesting and it doesn’t make the method of his execution any more palatable than Gillard’s execution of Rudd and it exposes the venomous vixens that still lurk the halls of power.
The liberals’ Josh Frydenberg, in an emotional fit of honesty, declared that Grand Mufti, Ibrahim abu Mohammed, had let his Muslim followers down by suggesting, among some other nasty things, that the Paris massacre was at least partly due to Islamophobia.
In excess of 80 per cent of Muslim immigrants rely on welfare and that is not exclusive to Australia, it is a world-wide anomaly that is crippling every budget from Canberra to Westminster and from the White House to the Fifth Republique.
A German proverb says: “The wise man voluntarily does in good times that which the stupid man involuntarily has to do in bad times”, and Angela Merkel has avoided doing anything in good times that might puncture her popularity.
Outspoken ex-military Senate candidate, Bernard Gaynor, faced a large crowd on Queensland’s Gold Coast this week to launch his campaign for the newly-formed Australian Liberty Alliance party which is looming as a force in the upcoming Federal election.
Turkey warned Putin to stop bombing ISIS at about the same time as Obama was claiming “successful containment”. In a thinly veiled attempt to avoid killing any person of extreme Islamic persuasion, Obama has suddenly been exposed as a liar as he openly defends Turkey’s “right” to defend itself against... well, against um, actually there was no-one attacking Turkey, and Turkey’s Erdogan has suddenly been exposed as just another dumb extreme Muslim in a suicide vest.
Footage has emerged of Syrian rebels yelling Allahu Akbah while shooting at pilots parachuting from a crippled Russian warplane over Syria. The Russian plane appeared to be attacking the rebels north of Homs and some distance from al-Raqqa, the home of ISIS. At least one of the pilots was killed while parachuting. And Obama and Turnbull are suggesting a power sharing arrangement in Damascus with these people!
Bill Shorten is still kicking old blokes when they’re down... some innocent poor bastards who like an occasional smoke, like myself, need to pay $55 for 50g of tobacco worth around 30 cents. (My damned tobacco plants got eaten by insects.)
New Minister for Defence, Marise Payne, was originally the recipient of a Senate casual vacancy and was Minister for Human Services in the Abbott Government from 18 September 2013. She even had a stint at Shadow Parliamentary Secretary for Foreign Affairs from 6.12.07 to 22.9.08. But the Defence portfolio? What was Turnbull thinking?
Justice Minister Michael Keenan, in a fit of blissful ignorance this morning, said he took no notice of minority groups who demonstrated against Islamic immigration. They are fringe groups and are not representative of mainstream public opinion. Hmmm, it appears Mr Keenan is in for a surprise come next election.
